Thank you so much Toni. Yes they are great kitties but the one who sticks in my mind is Duffy he was a wild cat that I picked up in California who also rode in a car from California to Utah. He was so scared he peed on himself anyway he also had medicak problems he would get diareeh and poop all over himself but he was a lover.-
It has to be scary for any animal to be in a moving vehicle, leaving even a bad home, and going to a new place, but you are great to make all of your friends feel comfortable, give them a loving home, and all while you are in pain. Thank you for sharing these touching, inspiring, stories. I hope you continue to, and if you like, perhaps you can lend your sympathy to others in our community who are hurting. Here’s a HUG for you…Toni

Yes Hobbes was named after Calvin and Hobbes sorry I didn’t see this sooner.

Hobbes was purchased at a Feed Store and he had alot of medical problems and he got to ride in a car to Utah from California because I was divorcing my first husband. Hobbes was a loving kitty and he helped me alot after my second husband died. Tipper was living in a Apartment where my second husband lived and he came in my car when I called him see the people who he was living with tried to cut out the microchip and sewed it up with thread his original name was Killer and he was no Killer but they were also injecting him with drugs. He lived to be 22. I have Fibromyalgia and my back hurts at night.

Dear, dear Donna.. What a lovely, loving person you are to take in these kitties while you are suffering your own challenges. I think that is so loving and kind and generous of you. Obviously you know how to care for your faithful friends – 22 years is a long, nice life for a kitty. My oldest was 19. Please, Donna, share more of your stories with us, and do let our community know how we may be comforting.. Toni
