It’s been 2 years that I lost my 15 yr old Lab, Tanner. It hasnt gotten any easier

    • Leslie, I am sorry for your pain. Grief has no timeline, and I think there is akways a sadness when we think of our beloved babies, even years later when our memories bring us joy. It is not a betrayal to smile and laugh with our memories of the fun, funny, loving times we were lucky to share. Quite the opposite – we honor our pets when we recall the wonderful lives we shared. When you die, do you want people to be happy for having had you in their lives? I do, and I think our babies do, too. Leslie, perhaps you could write to Tanner, telling her your feelings, and write TO you FROM Tanner with what you think she would want you to know about her life with you. I suspect she wants you to be happy for the times you shared. Please let us know how you are coming along, Leslie. I am sending you {{BIG HUGS}} Toni
      • I’m so sorry for your loss and your pain. I lost my boy 2 years ago too, and although my grief has softened, I am still lost without him. I certainly understand how you feel.
Sending you warm thoughts and comforting hugs 💔
