Nicole, I feel as if I know Harlee now, seeing her in so many moments of her happy life. How wonderful of you to share with us, and how wonderful for you both to have had so many fun times. We can see how much love she gave, and got back. It’s awful to say goodbye, but aren’t you grateful at the deepest level for having had her in your life? Of course, and so is your son. But it hurts and we are here for you, with you, to help support you as you move towards remembering Harlee with smiles before your tears. Please Nicole, send us updates about how you are coming along. {HUGS}. Toni

Yes we were greatful having her in our life. We’re ok, on and off sad. 2 days ago, got call from vet that her ashes and pawprint is ready to pick up. So I went there right after work. I cried when I received it. Hold it tight. I put on my dresser near my bed for now. Til I figure something out to set a memorial in the living room. With some pictures and her collar.

Harlee had a great life with us and loves to be with my son. She is the BEST I ever had. Even she knew I’m deaf and do alert like someone at the door, waking me up by patting on my side of the bed. She loves cats. Love to chase after the rabbit out the yard. I never forget a first time a skunk on my deck but injured by my dog. She loves SNOW! April 1, 2009 – March 9, 2023.

I’m still grieving. It has been hard on me. She’s my shadow. I had her since a puppy for 14 years. She also bonded with my 11 years old son. Loves play in snow with us. Her hip dysplasia and arthritis started 3 years ago and got worse. Hard decisions has made last Thursday and had to put her down. We cried with her at the vet and shes drifted into sleep. I know she hates going to the vet but we have no choice. Shes my best friend and I feel empty at home.
