Jennifer, yes, and it’s a different kind of pain, isn’t it? It wells up from deep within. One day, those memories will carry smiles before tears, but there is no time line for when that happens. When did you and Chewielou part? How long were you together? Can you share some pictures with us? May I give you a HUG….

Jennifer, I understand. He is truly adorable. This pain is a different kind, isn’t it? There is a part of us that knows it’s okay – just not right now. I’m arranging a pet grief counsellor and hope to have that available by next week if that is meaningful to you. Until then, go ahead and let it out. We are a safe place and understand.
