Keisha was my Chow chow, I had her from 10 weeks to 14 years. She had a slight stroke and could not stand up without pain and falling over. She was a remarkable friend. I never had to leash her, when I walked she’d walk, if I ran she ran and so on. She never even cared about seeing other animals, I sometimes thought she was a person. My cat Jaime I had 16 years and she had lost most of her hearing and was an indoor outdoor cat. My brother accidentally hit her with his car. It was was awful. At one time I had 7 birds, 2 pet rats,, an Iguana and Keisha and Jaime. They could all be in the same room at the same time and all got along. It was beautiful. I miss them all.-
Jacki, you are a wonderful pet lover to share your home and heart with all creatures, great and small. See? We CAN all get along given the chance. I am so happy to have you in our community and hope you will share your stories and tips about these various breeds of animals. I am sorry you had to part from them.
