I wanted to post a photo of my cocker spaniel Annie, who I had to put down in 2001. What a wonderful companion. I miss her still.

Great to see Annie the Pooch again!
I understand. Squirt (I didn’t name her) was with me for 19 years – at that time, half my life, and I think of her so often. Now that I am volunteering at the Dumb Friends League, I am confronted with meeting new animal friends and having to leave them. It’s tough. But, we have to think of the comfort and joy we share. Maybe we are all like leaves – we bloom, flourish, and show and share our splendor as we gracefully make our departures from the all-connecting trees of life. ??
