I lost him on the 19th. Nothing anybody can do, but I do appreciate the offer. I know it’s going to hurt for awhile, but time has a way of dulling the pain and I’ll adjust. I’m just glad there are places like this where pets are seen as family and understand the emotional connection that there is.

Ginny, you have healed from other losses to have this understanding – haven’t you? I agree, and intellectually, understand, too. It’s the powerful emotional loss through which we must pass on our way to healing that I find hurts so much. Your insights would be very helpful in encouraging and inspiring others, and I hope you will find other community members to whom you can extend your support.
