I hope everyone has a fun Halloween. In these weeks leading up to that, there are parties and parades, and contests that include pets. Please, be careful about putting costumes on pets, especially cats. Cats have nerves in their fur, not just whiskers, and costumes can be uncomfortable, if not painful. Any costume, on any pet, can be a hazard for choking or tripping. I think our pets are cute enough as they are, so please be considerate of your pets’ comfort and safety. Toni

I don’t think that the pain of losing a beloved pet ever goes away completely, but I know the love never does. I know that the memories of the happy, loving times we were lucky to share gain in strength with time, and our pain diminishes as we recall and embrace the wonderful times we shared. I hope we all can move forward knowing we gave our best and most to our beloved babies, and that the joy of our shared lives outshines the sadness of saying goodbye. i am sending you al my sympathy, and happiness for the good fortune you were lucky to know. Toni, you are always so kind with your words. Thank you so much for giving all of us here a safe place to land in our time of grief. I am one who has been lost in grief since losing my Romeo in January ’23 and I am slowly starting to see daylight once again. You are right….the pain of losing a pet never goes away…at least not completely. Love never does and will stay in our hearts always.
My heartfelt sympathy to everyone here who is experiencing the beginning stages of losing their beloved fur babies and to all of us who have been grieving for a while.
I wish peace and comfort for all of us.

October 4 last year I brought home three 5 week old kittens to foster. Four days later one boy and his sister died of Panleukopenia 💔💔The third kitten survived and is my darling Mac💜In November we welcomed Roni into our home and hearts👏💜🎉Here are some pictures from last October. Toni-
Too cute, thanks for posting them. Frankie is doing fine. I think he is more active now. I read somewhere that a Siamese can live up to 20 years….so I’m blessed with him for awhile.. he will keep my body in motion..he flat out does what he wants, when he scratches on the couch i tell him no, he looks at me square in the eye and does it again…then he runs…he is something else. Enjoy your evening..mine will be active.:)

Hi Brony…..I’m glad Frankie is giving you so much happiness. He seems to be full of life. Hang in there, he will grow put if this rascals behavior soon (fingers crossed. Lol)

Leslie Ann, thank you for sharing your recommendation to Raina, and for your continuing and generous support for everyone in our community. There is no time line for healing and memories can pop up any time – some make us smile, some open the floodgates. I hope you can pull forth memories from the years you and Bastet shared that bring you joy and smiles, and that you find comfort knowing she had a wonderful life filled with love because of you💕{HUGS} Toni -

💔Diane, this is the hard part of loving – saying goodbye. Your pain is as deep as your love for Oscar. Even though in our heads we know we will part one day, our hearts shatter when that time comes. I am so very sorry, but so very happy for the long life of love you and Oscat were so fortunate to share. If you can, think of a fun, funny time you shared. Let yourself laugh and be happy for those times. Oscar would want you to be happy for the joys you shared, don’t you think? And let yourself cry (as if you have a choice) – it’s healing to literally ‘get it out’. Please join our group meeting tomorrow, Thursday Sept. 19 at 7PM Eastern, You can stay as long as you like, and you can cry with us. We understand and are here to listen and lend comfort. Suzanne🤗🤗I am so happy to hear from you, and to have this wonderful update. That’s what we hope for in our community – to hear about your babies, those with us, and those to whom we have said goodby. You have quite the full house! I feel as if I know each of them now, just a bit, and they sound like great buddies for you and among themselves (well, most of the time)😎 How lovely and loving of you to open your home and heart again, especially to these boys who were in need. And it’s great that you kept bonded pairs together. I think Mac and Roni would die, literally, if they were separated. Maybe you will join our group call Thursday September 19th and try to corral the kids so we can meet them. That would be very nice, and we’d love to see you. Please keep sending updates, and pictures if you can because we love seeing the little darlings (monsters).😻You are always welcome to light another candle to each Spirit, Autumn Ranger and Saraya as a way of sending them a little “kiss”. Hi Toni, well the kitty that was thrown from a car and my friend brought him to me had a vet appointment in August, he is 5 months old, he for shots, which slowed him down for a day. He runs like a rocket thru the house ever since. He’s feeling fine until Sept 20th when he goes in to (shhhhh) get neutered. After that I am going to learn what’s it like to have a Siamese. I have learned already how intelligent he is also how stubborn. I wish you the best and I will keep you updated on Frankie and how he’s runs me ragged not to mention how costly it is to have a kitten
