Faye, first I want to thank your son, and your family, for serving. I am sorry your son was injured and wish you all well. I hope things go well for you. I am also very sorry Toby had to say goodbye. It’s so hard to lose a dear, close, beloved friend. Not that anyone could ‘replace’ Toby but if your son needs a service dog will you find another? If so, please share that with us. We support Canine Companions for Independence – https://canine.org/. I don’t know if their special breeds are suitable for your son but they may be able to help you. I am sending you my sympathy and hope to hear more from you. Toni
