Yesterday at noon my wife and I received our second Covid injection. During the night Joan had chills that kept her awake most of the night. I gave her water and Tylenol in the early morning and suggested she get some sleep. As I left the bedroom our rescued cat Maggie joined Joan and has stayed by her side for four straight hours.

    • Yep….They know when something is wrong. I had a foot surgery Monday and my cat has been stuck to me – she watches me and is keeping a watchful eye. Much better care than a nurse :-). I am glad you have your shots and hope Joan is feeling better soon.

      HI Toni,
Today we celebrate the day (three years ago) Maggie showed up at our front door. Every day since has been filled with fun and laughter.
      • Oh Ernie – Maggie really is a gift. She is such a beauty. You know she looks like my girl, but mine has a little white on her chest, and like her mother (me) a little white showing up in her other fur :-). More pictures and adventure stories, please ….
