Celebrate 5 years, 7 months agoHere is Squirt\’s sons.. Kobebear, and Snickers-
Are they cute?!! What are they – Pomeranians? How old are they?-
Yes they are Pomeranians. Snickers is 6 and Kobebear is 5. They are sweethearts.
-
-
very cute babies:)-
Thank you so much.
-
-
Diane, do you have more pictures of them? How much do they weigh? I bet they look really cute when they’re wet and their fur isn’t sticking out – I had a long haired cat that looked really big and fluffy, and when she came in the shower with me (yes, she loved getting wet!), she was a skinny little thing 🙂-
Yes, they are cute when they get their baths. They are not easy to give them a bath, for they have two coats they top fur and then they have an undercoat. But you can’t help but loving them. They have been by my side and are trying to comfort me.-
Diane, as you said to Jayne, they know when we are suffering, whether physically or emotionally. I’m glad you have them to support you. They probably miss Squirt, too, and are lucky to have you there to support them, too. Here’s a HUG for you all……-
Thank you so much and thanks for everyone in this group for all the support we can to one another for our loss of our fur babies.

Remember 5 years, 7 months agoI loss my little boy (Squirt) on Christmas eve. He was my soulmate. I miss him dearly. RIP: my sweet baby Squirt..💔😥
-
Oh no, how sad at any time, but Christmas Eve is so sad. I had a cat named Squirt for nineteen years. How old was your Squirt? How are you doing now, Diane?
-
Squirt was 11yrs. He was so special to me, see I got him when I was trying to deal with the death of my son. My son was 21 and passed away in a car accident. I was so lost at that time in my life and grieving. I found a lady that was giving away puppies and that is when I saw Squirt. He was the rut of the litter and I picked him up and we bonded right then. He helped me over come my grief and I started healing my pain. So now he is gone and I feel that pain again. I do have my memories and he will always be in my heart.
-
Diane, my words can not convey my feelings for you. I am trying to comment, to support you, but I really don’t know what to say. You are obviously a strong, smart person who accommodates the most tremendous loss imaginable, and have a big reservoir of love in you. My heart is broken with you. I am sure our community feels the same way and joins me in wanting to hear from you – your ups and downs, your joys and tears … Please Diane, let us know how you are, and if or how we can help support you. Huge Hugs, Toni
-
Dear Diane,
I am so sorry for your loss. I know the hurt you feel. I lost my Ava Dawn on December 15th. So I know how the love of a fur baby is. They do become our children too. I am also sorry to hear about your son. I have a son who is turning 20 in May. Do you have other children. I had my son and then a daughter. My son name is Jeremiah he is my bull frog. What was your son name. If you ever need to just talk I am here. I care a lot about other’s and I feel their pain. Reach out to me anytime. Sonya 🥰

Remember 5 years, 7 months agoThis is the memorial shelf that we set up for our boy who passed 12 days ago-
That is beautiful.

very beautiful ❤

A Spoiled Rotten Beagle?? Is there any other kind?? Of course not, nor should there be. Lisa, it’s lovely, and loving, of you to create such a touching tribute shelf. I’m sure it brings tears, and many wonderful memories. You must keep us posted on how you are doing – we’re with you. Toni
-
Thank you Toni.
This weekend is going to be hard. We are taking a road trip to see family and he always went with us on the 5 and a half hour drive. The last time we were there was in November and that’s when he became ill.-
Hmmm…I wonder if he picked up a microbe or something on that trip – do you know what happened? Everything is emptier when they’re not there anymore. It hasn’t been very long for you to heal and I hope you let us know how it went for you.
-
He had cancer Toni

Celebrate 5 years, 7 months agoMy Paris when I try to work my puzzle.-
I’d be surprised if, in the history of cats, a human worked a puzzle, read a magazine or book, used a computer, etc. without the aid of a cat 🙂
-
I know I even try to color, and she is right there like what ya doing. 😂
-
She’s a good pal. Curious and obviously very intelligent !
-
Yes she is my calico and I love her too the moon and back. ❤️

Remember 5 years, 7 months agoMy mom\’s blue gold yorkie Nala almost three years ago, and still feels like yesterday we lost her a 6 1/2 mths old from leptospirosis…all because we abided by the contract that the breeder made stating do not get the leptospirosis shot. Precious lil firecracker. I still get teary eyed when I say that.-
Oh, Sikorra, this is so sad. I’m including a link below so we can all learn about this disease. Have you and your mother been able to open your hearts and home to anyone yet? Let us know how you are doing.

Remember 5 years, 7 months agoEven though it has been over 5 years since I lost her, I still mourn my Luna bug .. taken from me by cancer at only 12 years old … my pillow will always feel empty without you my Bugs-
I’m the same way with my Hunee, it was 3 years this past November. And like your Luna bug, my Hunee Bea slept in my arms her whole 14 years. Luna’s coat is beautiful.
-
Yes, I want to comment on Luna bug’s fur, too. Stunning. Love the colors, and stripes and spots. Was she a special breed? Christina, I doubt there is a pet lover here who doesn’t still miss their babies. You are among friends who understand that time eases, but doesn’t erase. I have always thought that joy shared is joy doubled, grief shared is grief halved. I hope it helps to have us to share with. Perhaps you will take some comfort from lending your own sympathy and understanding to others in our community. Toni

Remember 5 years, 7 months agoI just lost my beloved Cheyanne of 23 years last week. Things are not the same without him. He took a piece of my heart with him.-
Christina, I am so sorry. It’s not been very long at all and I know you are in pain. Do you have other horses? Other animals? How are they adjusting? What type of horse was Cheyanne? Boy or girl? It looks like a lovely place to have spent a life, and clearly Cheyanne was loved and cared for and about. I’ll be thinking of you and hope you will check in with us so we can help support you.

Talk about an ear to ear grin! That’s one happy pup. How old is Jax? If you have information about this breed in particular, such as personality traits, special dietary needs, etc., please share them with us. Thank you for the cheery picture-it makes me smile, too 🙂

Remember 5 years, 7 months agoI lost Jake in October after 13 years of his unconditional love. Miss you Jakey💔🌈-
Oh Cheryl, what a doll – those eyes, that cute nose…I am sorry. Thirteen years is quite a gift, isn’t it? Jakey was clearly well loved and cared for. Too bad they are just “on loan” to us – it’s heartbreaking to say goodbye. But, what a lovely life you shared with him. Are you doing okay?
-
Thank you. Trying to just take it day by day. I miss him so much💕
