Thank you so much for caring about my Shirley. Yes most of her kitten’s had alot of black on them. Sadly I just lost her on September 13th, 2021. I held her, talked to her and kissed when she passed on.I miss her so very much.-
There are no good ways to say goodbye but, dying in our sleep, or being held by a loved one, seem to be the kindest ways, to me. In that, you were both lucky. It hasn’t been very long for you, Rosemary, and I hope you allow yourself to grieve as you need. Please let us know how you are doing. We’re thinking of you.

I had my sweet Shirley for 15 years. She was 1 in a litter of 4.She had kitten’s of her own and was also a grandma.She was just so loving and I held her when she had to go.-
Oh boy, Rosemary. This really touches me because she and my old girl (17 1/2) could be twins. I don’t think mine ever had kittens. Did Shirley’s babies look like her? How long has it been since you said goodbye ? We know intellectually that she enjoyed a long life of loving with you, but boy, it just hurts so much… I’m thinking of you and sending you hugs….
