This is Savannah. She was born Aug 20 2021. She was involved in a house fire and droppedoff at a vet. Her owners never came back for her. She was adopted but those people never came for her. She was transferred to the vet clinic where our daughter works. She has been there since Dec 22. Our daughter told us about her but we weren’t ready yet.
Last Sunday Jan 23 our dsughter told us she was still there. My husband and I agreed she needed us as much as we needed her. We adopted her on Monday Jan 24, she came home with us and she has made us laugh so much. My heart is happy again.
I really think she was born to be ours. View

Cindy, Oh Boy! What a picture! Those eyes :-). And what a lovely, loving and kind story. I am convinced our animals find us, and come and go as part of a warm flow. I am so happy for all of you and look forward to seeing more of little Savannah, and hearing about her exploits. Congratulations!

We have tons of pictures of her. I may do a blanket with pictures of her and our dog Gally who crossed the Rainbow Bridge in 2015.
I have their urns in my office room on my desk. I go in there and give them both a hug and tell them I love them every day. For now that’s all I can handle. ❤ -

This is our pretty kitty Charlotte. She was our baby from 04/04/04 until she crossed the Rainbow Bridge on June 12/2021. She will be forever missed. ❤❤❤-
Cindy, you touch me in many ways: Charlotte looks a bit like my girl who will be 18 in March. I know it’s so terribly gut wrenching to say goodbye, and that we also know, and are grateful for, the long time we had to share. I am personally so very grateful to you for sharing this, Cindy. And very, very sorry for your parting. Yes, Charlotte is woven into the fabric of your life and being, and cannot be forgotten, but must be celebrated! hopefully you are finding smiles before tears with her memories. I hope you will be an active member of our caring community, sharing your own sympathies and understanding with others, It means so much. We love to celebrate happy times, too, so share yours with us. I’m sending you a {{HUG}}. Toni

She also looks like my kitty who is going on 12. I can’t imagine how empty it is without your kitty. My kitty lays in the same spot every day on the top of the bed next to the throw pillow. I’m thinking of ordering a pillow from those places that do blankets, etc. from a photo. Have you thought about doing something like that? It might bring a smile to your face when you look at it. Just trying to suggest a way of bringing smiles to you.
