Lorraine, what a lovely, loving sentiment. Thank you for sharing this with us, and your thoughts of the good times you shared. This picture makes me a bit teary because my Beauty Girl was black too, and this is my first holiday without her. But, I am so grateful to have had her in my life, it’s hard to feel anything but happy for our time together, which is what I think you are feeling, too. Oh Darcee, she was so beautiful. I know it is lonesome and there is a hole in your heart, and home without her. This is my first year without my Beauty Girl. (You can see he memorial here: https://www.faithfulfriends.com/memorials/beauty-girl/

Amanda, this has been a tough year and I am so sad for you and your losses. It seems as if there has been a dark cloud this year and I hope it clears for 2023. What do you think – will you be able or ready to open yourself to more new loves, or will you take some time? It’s different for each of us and there is no right answer. I’m taking a “paws” for awhile after saying goodbye this year, and know many others are, too. Some are welcoming new faithful friends, some of us are waiting a bit. Oh Anna, I am so very sorry. Was Rico unwell? The holiday season can be a difficult time and I hope you are able to think of the good times, and love you shared with Rico. Join us Thursday evening, Glenda. You’ll get an email that day with the link. I’m like you in that I think pets come to us, but I also think we need to put ourselves in their path. I met my beloved, departed Beauty Girl when I brought her home for medical fostering. Had I not volunteered for that, I would have missed five glorious years of love and joy we shared. So don’t be shy about putting yourself out there, mentioning to people that you may be open to bringing another love into your home and heart. Let’s see what happens! Absolutely agree about spay and neuter. And Glenda, make the most of this holiday season with Tubby. You are lucky to have each other. Toni -

The oncologist veterinarian at Blue Pearl Animal Hospital in Delaware said. Since Chicos tumors have shrunk to the point where you can’t see them or feel them on his body anymore (the tumor lump may not be there anymore, the cancer cells are still there). And since the 2 Mast Cell Tumors that had cancer were removed were low grade and had clean margins. All we have to do for now is monitor Chico to see if they grow back into tumor lumps again, or if he develops new lumps. We will have them surgically removed.
