Remember 5 years, 7 months agoOur baby tucker died on us the day we came back home from our honeymoon Sunday September 7th 2019 he was 18 YRS old-
Tucker! You waited until you knew everyone was tucked in with love, and left them with your wonderful spirit. I can see it in the picture. I think our pets, and people, wait until they know we are okay, to leave us. I hope he was feeling well, and that you are doing well knowing the love you shared. Toni

Remember 5 years, 7 months agoLost my girl in March. She helped me thru my depression and anxiety. I miss her so much.😥-
Oh Jo, she’s so sweet. On your bed in this photo? How are you dealing with everything? This year has been hard enough without losing such a beloved friend, and I hope you are okay. We’re here to support you. Toni
-
Thank you. She was actually sitting on our couch. She was pretty much free roam except when we slept then she was in her cage. 2 months before I lost one of our rescued guinea pigs we only had a few months. When he passed, midnight would sit under his cage for a few days missing him. She was such a loving soul. I still cry for her. She was truly my baby girl.😥 I didn’t think I’d ever be without her.

Oh my…how terrible to have them both go in such a short time. They must have lived together with you? How old were they? They were probably good friends? Oh geez, I am so sorry. Keep us posted about how you are doing. You may find others in our community with whom you can share your sympathy, and receive theirs. I am here for you, too. Toni

Oh, Sonya, what a beauty.. I have tears in my eyes she’s so lovely. I am sorry. I get your pain. But just think what we would have missed without her ….
-
Yes they touch our hearts and leave impressions. 🐾
-
Sonya, thank you for that… yes , they leave paw prints on out hearts, don’t they? I think, people who are touched by pets and all animals are kinder, more accommodating and accepting than those who aren’t. There is a love and energy between pets and people that is pure.
-
Yes I agree with you 💯 percent. I know the love I have have for animals, is what really keeps me going.
-
Yes. I agree. People are over rated… Our pets, and other animals are so much kinder so often. Some people are okay and really good, but almost every “animal” is…don’t you agree? But, here we are together, loving our pets, missing them and sharing that. Thank you, Sonya, for being in our community, and if you can, when you can, please lend your sympathy and support to others here. And here’s to a safe and happy New year!
-
Yes. People are over rated. I have only a handful of people who are true to me. But I have met much more sweet, loving and caring animals. And I am glad I join this group. I am looking forward to reaching out to other people. And I hope your New Year is healthy and happy too.
-
I just realized that people are posting photos of animals that they have still living and some that have passed. Me being so upset, may have mixed things up, the kitty cat is still living the doggie in my profile photo is now gone. Sorry I just caught my mistake.

Sonya, you did it right – all posts flow into the “Community” area, and my webmaster and I are looking at separating the two sections. I am really glad you will reach out to others because we all need some support. Let us know how you are doing. Hopefully the new year will be better….
-
Yes I like to help others that are grieving. Because I know the pain and I look for someone to comfort me too. I hope the new year, is more happy for all of us. 😊

Celebrate 5 years, 7 months agoThis is their big brother Dash he’s a 3 year old Catahoula Leopard Dog. Full of energy and life. Adopted at 6 months old he brings youth back into our lives. He even has a title. Daschel the Trucking Catahoula. As we are in a semi over the road and he just loves it. Been trying to find time for a FB blog of his travels.-
WOW! What a looker! I’ve not heard of this breed and want to know more, please. Oh good – post his travels on our Facebook pages : MYFaithfulfriends. Be sure to put MY in front of Faithfulfriends for Facebook. We’ll follow along with him, and you. That is very cool and I am excited to see where we all go.

Thank you for the link. “Sacred Lake” is so cool. What an interesting breed – originating in Louisiana? Please share more about Dash and his adventures. “Dash” is the perfect name for him !

Celebrate 5 years, 7 months agoA Cacophony of Cat and Crow Christmas Caroling!
It’s a warm day here. Crows are cawing, so the cat and I went outside to join them and I was treated to a cat & crow Christmas caroling. It was lovey to hear the harmonization among them. I hope we all find harmony amongst ourselves, and that everyone has a good holiday. -

Remember 5 years, 7 months agoOur Buster left us on Monday 12/21/2020.
We are heartbroken and dont know what to do without him. He was almost 12 and we have had him since he was 3!! Life will not be the same without him-
I’m so sorry, I understand that pain. It does get a little easier.
-
I hope so cause Christmas is not the same without him. He is our child and we cant give him his gifts
-
-
Lisa, It still hasn’t been very long but I hope you are doing better. Are you? What are you doing to feel better? Can we help?
-
Toni,
We are doing ok. It is still hard but we did sit a memorial shelf up for our baby boy. I wish I could show you a picture of it.
Thanks for asking about us.-
Lisa, there is a small icon of a camera in the lower left corner where you write comments. If you download a picture of the memorial shelf to your computer, you can click the camera icon and upload your photo. We’d love to see it.
-
Toni,
I am using my phone and do not have a icon button for a camera.😞-
Hmm…I will ask my webmaster if we can add that. Thank you for letting us now.
