Sorry I haven’t checked in for a while. Been keep busy with my new fur baby Alvin. Found out that he has Inflammatory Bowel Disease. He is on Hydrolyzed Protein food. Its dry food and I am hoping to find wet food that I can give him that will help him from not bringing up his food. He is 7 and will be 8 in July. He is a fun loving kitty too.

Hi Christina🤗That’s too bad about little Alvin, but I think IBD can be addressed with diet (maybe meds) and he should do well. Have you thought to ask your local shelter for their insights? How are you doing now – still writing to June? I hope having Alvin is bringing you much joy. I find that, while I will always miss my beloved, departed babies, having another life to care for and about really lifts the pain, and I can be happy for the lives we shared and not feel so sad. Are you finding that? If you can, please join our kind group March 21st at 7 PM Eastern. The link is under Events on the right side of this page. I am glad to hear from you and look forward to hearing more about Alvin💕

Thank you for the information, I checked it out, and I saw that there was a charge. I am not working, so I am not able to do it. I wrote her a letter. I think of her everyday.

Saw the Valentines Day Memorial, and tried to do one for June, but she is not on the list. What happened, I thought she was there.
-
Hi Christina. I am sorry for any difficulty. All you need to do is click the Memorials tab, “Add my memorial” and proceed from there. Let me know if I can assist you. [email protected]

Hi Toni, Hope you are over your cold. We are still struggling with our colds. Woke up with sore throats. We had a wonderful Christmas visiting my side of the family. Hubby called his brother and Aunt as this is the first Christmas without his Mom. Alvin had fun and I thought about June a lot as well as my other fur babies. I wrote to June today too-Dec 29/23. Hope everyone is good and all the best in 2024.

This will be my first Christmas without June. She was 20 when I lost her on June 9. Miss her everyday. Watching her chase the paper we threw at her was so much fun until she curled up and went to sleep with a smile on her face. Sending hugs and all the best in 2024… -

How am I doing today? Lets see….getting close to Christmas…missing June as it will be the first year without her…thinking of her everyday…thinking of all the fur babies I lost in years past…our new addition Alvin is settling in too. Big orange kitty with gold eyes. Hubby and I are getting over a cold, hope its gone before Christmas as we want to see my Mom and family. I am sending Christmas wishes to everyone and hugs to all. Merry Christmas and all the best in 2024.
-
How nice of you, Christina. Thank you for the best wishes. I hope you and yours have a holiday filled with love, and that Alvin brings you new memories to treasure as you hold June in your heart. I have a cold, too! Not Covid, thank goodness, but my kittens spent the day and night on the couch with me yesterday. That was so sweet. I hope you get to visit your family and that your holidays are bright💕Toni

Christina, thank you for the update. Your family has been through a lot this year and I hope the new year brings you many good things 🤗My cold is long gone and I am sorry yours are lingering. The holidays can be stressful and maybe now you can slow down and get some rest. It’s wonderful that you write to June regularly. She, and your others are always in your heart and writing is a lovely way to stay connected 💜I am sending you my best wishes for a fabulous 2024🎉Toni

Hi all, I hope everyone is doing good. I am doing good, still missing my June. Don’t think that will ever go away. I do have some good news. My Mom is home from the hospital and doing so much better. I was talking with her yesterday, she is 85 now. I chatted with my girlfriend and because of her health, she has to rehome her kitty Alvin. So I will be taking him. He is a big happy orange kitty and very loveable. She knows he will be taken care of and happy. Will be taking lots of pictures to send to her too. She is sad so I will make sure she knows Alvin will be ok. I hope June is happy about that as I think about her all the time.

Hello everyone, its been a rough night. My Mom went into the hospital and had to get much needed blood transfusions. I will need to touch base with my brother later to get an update. This 2023 has not been good. I hope everyone is having a good day and remembering their fur babies and the love they gave you. I am still writing to my furbaby June that I lost on June 9, 2023. Still miss her so much. Have a wonderful day.

Christina, how is your mother doing now? Please, take care of yourself, too. It is good that you are writing to June and I wonder if you have tried writing what you think June might want to share with you? If you would like to tell us some of what you are finding from your writings, we would like to hear. Please keep us updated about your mother, and again, please take care of you!💕

Thank you Toni, 2023 has not been a good year. I am not sure what your time zone is like where you are. I am in Canada. Will see what I can do about joining the group meeting. Hubby is not one to discuss his personal life. I did try seeing June’s candle, but I didn’t see it. Can I have other furbabies added to getting a candle? One kitty Tristen was a favorite of my husbands. They use to go for walks together and when Tristen got tired, Aaron (my hubby) would go and pick him up and bring him home. He was with me when we lost Tristen, He was with me when we lost June. He loved Tristen. -

I understand how much you miss your sweet baby. The pain of missing them will never go away. Just know your sweet baby is watching over you. I believe my June is watching over me everyday along with my other fur babies that I lost. Have a great wonderful beautiful day 🙂 -

Good Morning Everyone, I do hope all of you are doing good and remembering your fur babies. June is always on my mind. I think about her everyday. Back in Oct, my husband lost his Mom to cancer. We were on our way to Toronto when we heard she had passed. She was her in Calgary with her sister for a week and June would sit inbetween them and purr. I hope June is sitting on her lap and purring and giving her lots of love. Hubby misses his Mom so this will be the first Christmas without June and Hubby’s Mom. I will make the house beautiful and have all the beautiful decorations up too. Will post a picture soon. Have a great day, Hugs to everyone.

Oh Christina, I am so very, very sorry. June, and now your mother in law. I’ve been through a series of close losses and in a way, you are already in a bereaved state and possibly better able to move through them? I wish you and your family the ability to recall fond, fun memories, and find join with those. {HUGE HUG} Toni
