That’s so tough. I’m very sorry. But you know what a nice thing you did for Ranger by bringing him into your warm and welcoming home. Still….it hurts. Let us know how you are getting along. -

Lisa, there is a small icon of a camera in the lower left corner where you write comments. If you download a picture of the memorial shelf to your computer, you can click the camera icon and upload your photo. We’d love to see it.-

Update on my cat: She is still without sight, has been on the blood pressure and thyroid meds for a week now, and we go back to the doctor tomorrow. For the first five nights I slept on the floor next to her bed/bench but as she is adapting and knows her way around more each day, I slept on the couch last night and she came to sleep with me again. She is becoming more confident and if she is going to stay blind, I think we can make it work pretty well without limiting her fun and joy of life too much. If anyone has tips for us, please share. I appreciate the support from you all. Toni-

I am sorry for your loss of Ranger, June. Will you tell us about him? What type of pet? May we see pictures? How can we support you?-
Thank you so much. Ranger passed away suddenly on Dec 7. He was a mixed breed dog who we are guessing was about 12. We adopted him March 2009

Sharon, you seem to have a way with lap cats. Mittens is adorable. Looks a little like Sharon’s girl, Flip.-
Flip is also my cat. Mittens would of have been 17 years old this coming august

I’d be surprised if, in the history of cats, a human worked a puzzle, read a magazine or book, used a computer, etc. without the aid of a cat 🙂 -

We are doing ok. It is still hard but we did sit a memorial shelf up for our baby boy. I wish I could show you a picture of it.

This weekend is going to be hard. We are taking a road trip to see family and he always went with us on the 5 and a half hour drive. The last time we were there was in November and that’s when he became ill.
