@rayray47 Hello Renae. I like the name Aces B and wonder if it has a special meaning? I’m sorry for your loss. Will you tell us about Aces B, maybe share some photos? Are you doing okay?

His name was Aces Betancur but we shorten at times- he was very loving& smart & had so much character. He was a big yellow lab- which I always said it was all because everyone loved him so much. He walked with a sexy swag & everyone noticed. We just lost him the day before Christmas Eve- he was 16 & is truly missed every sec. of everyday.

She was a Pomeranian dog had her for 17 yrs . She was a big part of our family.
It’s been hard and it’s not the same .-

Clearly, you are a pet lover and it sounds like your pets enjoy nice, long lives with you. That’s wonderful. Do you have any now?-
I love animals.Right now I have a Chihuahua /MinPin mix. He is 7. His name is Romeo. My daughter has 9 cats and a Lab/ Boarder collie mix named Appa he is 8. Four of the cats are 15 and the others are 2 – 4 years old. We also have a stray that adopted us, we named her Eclipse. She is black with a white belly and feet. We also have a fish.

Yes Spotty had spots. She was black and white spriner spaniel boarder collie mix. Bo was a Siberian Huskey. I don’t have pictures of them anymore. They got lost in moves. I have lost other pets as well. My most recient was my Chihuahua named Grace. She was almost 18 years old.

Thank you Toni. Clifford has passed away in August of 2017. He was a Yellow Lab. I’ve had him since he was 8 weeks old. He passed away at the age of 14.5. He was the best! Loved him to pieces. Miss him so much still. I adopted another dog. Chloe. She just turned 3. She had healed my broken heart. It hurts so much when when you lose a beloved pet.

Yes Paula, there isn’t a time line on pain, is there? But, look at you – opening your heart and home to another love. He is good.

They were together for 13 years.-

He is fine. A little more attached.
Our problem is that he wants to fight my boyfriend’s cat. All the time. She is not fixed. Never seen so much aggression from him. But he gets along fine with his dog.-
Mary, I’ve been thinking about this. Do you think the cats don’t get along because 1. They are territorial or possessive of your attention 2. You cat is grieving and taking it out on the other cat?

No he was doing this before my other cat passed.
The female is just as bad. We have had to keep them separated. They each have their own room.
They are allowed to Rome the house in 12 hour shifts. They each have their own food and water. And litter box. Plus a main food and water because we have a small dog too.

Lyn, yes it is very nice. We are in the process of adding personalized blankets, throws, totes, and other meaningful items. I’ll keep everyone posted when they are available. I know how comforting it is to literally be wrapped in our pets. -

Aha! That’s so sweet, Mary. When my cat is on my lap I call it being “trapped under a cat” ! That’s a good thing 🙂-
My cat Dusty has been lying down on top of me ever since he was a kitten n it doesn’t matter what position I’m in he will lye down on top of me even when I’ve gone to bed he will get on top of me lol
