Tara, what a wonderful profile. Beautiful. Jadakae – what does that name mean? Is this a boy or girl? Even though you had eleven wonderful years together, it’s never enough, is it? I am so very sorry for your parting. Please let us know how you are doing< Tara. And, if you read a post that touches you, your words of support mean a lot to fellow grieving pet parents. Toni -

Oh, what a story these pictures tell….the friendship, comfort and joy. You and Bentley are no doubt suffering the very deep pain of loss, Susan. It comes from deep within, and the one thing I can think of that helps you is having each other. When my Beauty Girl died in February, I found comfort with a stuffed toy. And posting a lasting Memorial for her. My heart hurts with and for you both, and I think you will find, with time, it gets easier to think of Duke, an I hope you find smiles before tears. Thank you for sharing the pictures. They have brought tears to my eyes, as I am sure they have to others of us who understand, and are so very sorry. Please stay with us, and let us know how you and Bentley are coming along. And please, share my {{HUG}} with Bentley. Toni -

Laurie, what a charming picture of Amanda. Thank you for sharing it with us. Amanda was probably a better “Facebooker” than most :-)…. I am so sorry for your parting. Are you doing okay? If you read some of my posts here, you know I said goodbye to my Beauty Girl in February (you can read her memorial here: https://www.faithfulfriends.com/memorials/ ) and within a few weeks a friend needed a home for a wonderful two year old who has brightened my world and lifted my spirits. So, I hope you are alright, I know the grief comes from deep within, and you are safe here and welcome to share all of your feelings. We understand and care. And I hope you find joy in memories of your life ad love with Amanda. We are glad you are with us. Here is a {{HUG}} for you. Toni -

Oh Kimberly, what a sweet, touching message you sent to ALL of your loves. And I can really relate to your story about Piper and Max – I said goodbye to my beloved Beauty Girl in February and was not “ready” for a new love, and a friend called whose mother had a two year old cat that needed a home and WOW, i now have “Boots” and he truly helped me through the grief and loss. I still cry and feel the sadness when I think of my beloved Beauty Girl, but Boots is so young, energetic and a constant companion, I don’t have much time for sadness :-). I think the universe brings us together when the time is right, don’t you? I am very glad you are a part of our caring community, and look forward to hearing more from you. I am also very sorry for your losses, and happy for your LOVE. Toni -

Dianne, I am so sorry. It’s always hard to lose our mothers, and it is especially difficult when it falls on a holiday. That’s a lot of emotion to experience and you must get it out. Hopefully you will find some of the pain easing as time goes by and the good memories come in. I will be thinking of you on Easter so post and let us know how you are doing then. {{HUG}} -

They sure are happier with everything than people. Inspiring. You make me laugh, Cathy – my Beauty Girl weighed 7 pounds, and Boots weighs 15! It’s a whole new dynamic ๐ Let us know about Trixie, and please share our gratitude for their important services with your clinic. Toni -

It\’s important we share things we find out, so I will share that Boots\’ stool was extremely pungent (stinky) and since we had his anal glands expressed, and got on the antibiotics, they don\’t smell at all. Soooo…if your pets\’ feces are unusually smelly, it could be a sign of a medical need. -

@anydoglover Is this darling Abby, Michelle? What a cutie. Will you tell us about her, and your lives together? How did you meet, and when? And Michelle, how are you doing? Was your parting recent? We’re here with understanding of your grief, and support. Sending you my sympathy. Toni

Oh my, Chere, you and yours have been through so much loss in such a condensed period, you must be raw. And yes, our other pets grieve, too. I am so very sorry for your sorrows and hope that somewhere, sometimes, you find smiles before tears with your memories. Please do keep us posted, and if you have it in you and would like to reach out with support to others here who are grieving, it means a lot. I’ll be thinking of you all…please accept and share this {{HUG}} Toni -

@cherre Hello Cherre. Welcome to our caring community of pet lovers. I am very sorry for your parting from Curlee. What kind of pet was Curlee? How did you come to that name – it’s so cute and different. May we see some pictures? Are you doing okay, Cherre? We understand the pain and joy, and you can share with us. Toni

Hi Toni…thks for messaging me..its nice of you to ask…my Curlee Boy got his name from his curly tail..he was very special to me..my father had seen him in their neighborhood and one day he was in thier garage sleeping..my dad said you need to come look at this dog..knowing that I would take him in..I had 3 others at the time..but it didn’t matter 😉 he was a rescue like most of mine so we think he was 23 or 14yrs old..earlier march diagnosed with cancer in his mouth…it grew quickly.and we just had to make that heart breaking decision..I lost my dad in 2018…and my mom in 2019…all the emotions are still very hard so it has been a difficult roller coaster for me.I still have 3 dogs…one 2yrs and other 2 between 5and 8…its made me fearful about them..they are grieving aswell..its only been 2wks now..thks for your time..its nice to have others that understand..have a blessed day 😊

This was Boots at the vet yesterday, fascinated by the wall clock (the motion of second hand ticking). His anal glands were very clogged and had to be expressed. He\’s on antibiotics for a week and is doing well. -

Maybe it’s good she wasn’t suffering for a long time with the mass. It’s easy to say we know we will say goodbye one day, but it sure is a deep pain when we do. I think there are pets with whom we have special bonds, and you and Bessie have that. What a darling girl she was, Dianne. How lucky to have shared your lives. I imagine June 4th is a happy/sad day each year and do let us know what’s going on. -

Cathy, my old girl went blind (initially due to high blood pressure – you might get hers checked), and became deaf, but she did well with it and got around fine. Their other senses are so good, I think they do better than we would. Let us know what you find out – we’d like to know. Good luck ๐ - Load More
