Oh now, Bonnie…there can not be many cats that look like that – she is just stunning! The eyes, the color, the ‘catitude. I think she is very special. Thank you so much for these pictures. I want to join her fan club 🙂-
She is special. I adopted her from a animal control center when she was 1 years old.

Bonnie, you made me laugh – a can of wet cat food for her birthday – that’s too cute. I take it she usually eats dry? I had a cat that literally walked in my door and adopted me, and she would only eat dry food. The vet said that was fine, and that cat (Chivo) lived a great, healthy life on the dry food. But you made me laugh. Thank you for that!

Thank you Kate. Squirt was with me half my life and we went through everything together. She’s been gone a long time and I will always get happy, warm, loving feelings thinking of her. Jane was younger than Squirt and went through so much. You are a dear person to have given her such care. I am delighted you are part of our community and we would love to see Jane’s brothers – the guinea pigs and bunny brother. With pictures if possible 🙂-
I am going to try to post some pictures of Jane and her siblings . I’m not seeing as how I can add pictures t my reply , so I might post them separately

I was looking on that then my phone died and i coulent get nack to the page i will go nack and try i did do a funding thing on a nother site its just like that but its pets … cofundmy pet thats wher but nothing yet

Oh my, wow, eight puppies …how adorable. Are they a certain breed? What happened to Loki? Was he the same breed? Do you have pictures of Loki, Cherry? You are so kind to share your sympathy with others here. It means so much to know other pet lovers understand the joys and sorrows. It’s just so hard to say good-bye…Please, tell us more and share puppy stories with us. -

Uh oh. What’s going on? I was at the ER Sunday for 2 1/2 hours with my cat – lots of blood in her stool (we’ve been treating for that and her progressive inflammatory disease, high blood pressure, hyper-thyroidism, etc.) so I hope you will tell us what is happening with Thor. We can all learn from one another. You must let us know how he is, please Dawn. We are thinking of you both.-
Thor is still in kitty hospital he is on 2 I.Vs and 4 difernt meds he had a cathider pla ed sunday affternoon he has struvent crystals and he was completly blocked i noticed saterday he was not peeing so sunday i called the vet im broke i dont have money i asked the cet if i couled work out a payment plain all i had was 50 thy wanted 116 up front i coulnt come up with it the cet called be back an hr later and said bring him in and the 50 i was saposed to go in with 800 today that dint happen im hoping i have it tomarow then thy will payment plain the rest thats my mostworry right now i cant lose him . Vet called this moring with an update said his urine is looking a lot better ther going to pull the cath in the moring and see how he does threw the day i maybe brining him home tuesday night

Bambi, I can see why she was your everything – her eyes are just green pools of love. I am so, so very sorry for your loss. It hurts to think of her being gone. It hasn’t been very long for you so be good to yourself, let yourself grieve. One of these days you will find yourself smiling about her a little more than crying and being sad. Please stay intouch with us and let us know how you are. Toni -

Oh Kate, you bring me many sweet memories because your Jane reminds me very much of my Squirt, who was nineteen when we parted. She was what they called a “Long-Haired Torty” (for tortoise). Jane could be Squirt’s great, great, great….well, you get the idea. How old was Jane? How long were you together? Are you having more smiles than tears now? I know the tears and feelings come over you, but are you feeling better? Toni-
Jane was only 11 years old . We adopted her when she was 2-3 years old . She was such a brave , strong kitty . She was my soulmate . She endured surgery to remove ear polyps , years ago and they found she had MRSA. Then about a year and a half ago , she had surgery to remove 2 mammary cancer spots . A few months before her passing we learned that the cancer metastasized to her lungs , and she was having trouble breathing . She then stopped eating . She was the greatest best friend , and always so gentle abs loving to her guinea pigs and bunny brother .

Jolieen, I am so glad you mentioned therapy because I think people underestimate how helpful that can be. If you want to, it may be helpful to others to hear some of the things that are helping you. When you are ready, you might find a Memory Vessel or blown glass pendant a comforting memorial piece. You can find them in our Shop. There are many meaningful ways to remember and pay tribute to your beloved “Lucky” and a shadow box of favorite things may also bring you comfort. And, hopefully you are supported by those of us in the community who are here to listen and help. I will check in with you tomorrow to see how you are doing. Please, let us know how you are. Oh Sweetie, I know exactly what you mean – the tears just don’t seem to stop…. I think they come from a deep well within us…And you won’t forget him – and one day you will find yourself smiling before you cry, and little by little…the tears will bring comfort, not express pain.
