Oh, that is so sweet. I know it doesn’t make it easier, but you shared 14 wonderful, loving years together. We know our pets are, unfortunately, only “on loan” to us, and one day we will have to part. Just think what joy, love and caring you brought to her. And I know, she gave it all back to you. You will always have Petals in your life, your heart. It hurts so bad to be without her. Let us know when you find smiles before tears, and how we can comfort you.

@karenlperez Karen, I am sorry about Buddy. When did you part? What kind of pet was Buddy? May we see pictures, hear about him? Are you doing okay?

Ahhh….Jessica…It’s okay that you are still crying. There is absolutely no time frame on healing from the grief of losing a beloved pet. Do you find you smile before the tears come? The happy memories can bring up strong emotions, too – it’s not just sadness, joy is a powerful feeling that can lead to memories that evoke sadness. I think we all go through strong cycles of both. Stay with us here, Jessica, cry with us, smile with us, let us share with you. Do you have pictures of Lucy we can enjoy? Here is a HUG for you. Toni

Laurie, you are a very kind, loving person to have shared your love and life with these darlings. And yes, they do live in our hearts forever – or furever…We have a few community members who have shared cats and bunnies, and I think any animals who live in a safe, caring place live lovingly together. What glass piece are you having made? Have you seen the unique, beautiful hand-blown glass in our shop? The artist, Henry Duquette, carefully, lovingly creates a beautiful piece incorporating your remains (or fur). You might take a look. Laurie, it hasn’t been vert long since you said goodbye to Abner, and if we can help you in any way, please let us know. We’ll be thinking of you.

Laurene, what a gorgeous dog Bernardo is…Oh, I am very, very sorry for your loss. When did you say goodbye? If you are up to it, will you tell us about him, what happened, your lives together? Was he a German Shepard? His fur is so long… was he a special breed? How can we help you get through this, Laurene? We’re here and we care. Toni

Oh geez, Lynn, that is so sad and I am so sorry. What a regal photograph of Colt, and what a perfect name for him – he looks so strong and smart. How old was Colt? What happened to him? How are you coping? Boy, those are sweet eyes….I can almost feel his breath… I am really sorry you had to part, and really want you to share your feelings with us if you like. Hug.
                        • He was 12 and ended up with cancer. We had to remove his hind leg and he made it one more year until we had to let him go.

Oh Good For You, Lynda, and great for Crash! What does “counter surf” mean? I’m sorry I don’t know that. Unless he jumps up, or puts his paws on it?….. Send us some photos of him doing that, or just of the two of you.. It’s magnificent of people to rescue others, and I am very happy you and Crash are part of our community. Stay active and involved! Have Crash tell us about his going’s on ๐Ÿ™‚

Yep, those tools can be harsh. I have a grooming glove but it doesn’t really work. I have a small brush with metal prongs and gently groom my cat. But the very best we enjoy is slightly moist hands. If you can, will you send some more pictures, please? I think he is so gorgeous.

Oh…Look at that face :-). I feel like Shelby has something to say…maybe “I Love You, Mom”? When you say “little” does that mean Shelby is small, or young, or what….? Thank for sharing. I’d love to see more..

@bambimommyof4 Angela, I see your tributes to Suzie May and Shane, and am sorry. What type of pets were they? Did they live with you at the same time? May we see pictures, and hear about them? How are you doing?

Hi Pamela. Karma doesn’t look high-strung in this picture :-). Is her head tucked under? Can you share one with her face? Beautiful shiny fur, and pretty markings.

Hi again Lisa. We were speaking with Waggle.org today and I shared your story about Cuddles. Your story has quite an impact and just shows what a difference one person, extending kindness, can make. You rock!
