Oh, Naudette, I am so sorry about Jake. Seventeen years is a long time to enjoy life together, but it’s never long enough, is it? The space they occupy in our hearts is emptied when they leave. I hope your memories fill the void over time, and your smiles replace your tears. Will you share some photos with us? And let us know how you are coming along, please… -

Andrea, Hi, it’s Toni, Karan’s sister here. Karan told me about Ruby and we are heartbroken with you. I understand she was ill and you lovingly helped her find relief. That’s the hardest thing to do, and the most generous and loving kindness to extend. If you would like, we’d love to see some pictures of Ruby, and hear some stories about your lives together. Toni, thank you for the kind words. The hardest part of losing Ruby is watching how lost my Boston terrier is without her.

Oh dear, and Yes, Ruby’s furry friend is hurting, too. This is the tough part of sharing loving lives with our Faithful Friends who are only “on loan” to us, isn’t it? We know, intellectually, going in, when we bring them into out hearts and homes, that one day, we will have to part…But man – it hurts…a lot….But Andrea, were the years of Love, Joy, Sharing and Caring worth it? I suspect so ..and I expect that one day your smiles of memories will precede your tears . I hope so, and hope that you will continue to share your feelings – sad, happy – with us – and when you feel up to it, pictures and stories about your Boston Terrior. Name? Gender? Michelle, Sasha and Belle win my award for the most tolerant pups – the costumes! And they do seem to enjoy strutting their stuff. How fun, for us, and I hope for them. We used to put hats and sunglasses on our cat and he was very “chill’ about it. You all have a great sense of joy. Thank you for sharing with us. Can’t wait to see what they come up with for St. Patrick’s day! -

What a great mix of breeds – Lab and Greyhound. They are so kind, smart and loyal. Again, I am so sorry. We are scheduling a Paw’d Cast with Canine Companions for Independence – CCI.org – and if your husband needs another PTSD companion maybe they can assist you? Let me know if I can help. Toni -

Oh my goodness, these pictures are so sweet, touching and fun (the microwave and Jack on his back)…We are developing a section in our community for memorials just like what you have shared. Thank you. Keep an eye out for that. What happened to Jack? He was so young, and handsome. I am so so sorry…Candles can take a day or so to show up because we physically approve each submission to make sure there are no ‘bots in our community – we are all real people here. You should see it within 24 hours. Please, tell us more about Jack, and let us know how you are doing.-
jack died from fleas and i lost most all my cats sardien was in bad shap as well the vet said hes 100% shure it was a fkea boren virus that killed jack the fleas exploded in less then a week by the time i seen how bad thy wher ge was completly coverd in them i put flea meds on them that day thy becamso aninec so fast by the time i got jack in to the vet he was bleeding out his nose and coulent stand up he was walking around that moring the vet said he had a 10% chance of living i constanly regret putting him to sleep ….i was so scared i wouled have to do that to thor i constanly struggle with the olny if only if i had the money sooner i couled have got him in sooner im not handaling it well this is why i cant lose thor …

Cheryl, this picture has me confused – which of you is Toby Chase 🙂 ? Sorry to make light but this is such a sweet picture, and shows how close you were. Toby Chase was in front on my lap. It was a Snapchat filter that I had used last February. They had created filters that you could use with your pets.

Well alright, Sophie! You are one cool cat, girl. Love your colors, and your ‘catitude :-)… Is she a “Torty” or Calico? My Squirt looked like her but with really long hair. Thank you, Lynn, for sharing with us and please, tell us more about Sophie. Just love this picture. Toni-
Sophie is a Torty and a polydactyl (mitten kitty) and a rescued barn kitty found while I was exploring the back roads in Indiana on a camping trip.
