Mary, I am so sorry. Francis was your baby and friend, and Snowflake was, too. Yes, they most certainly are our family, and yes, we know when we meet and bring them into our homes and hearts, one day we have to part – they are only on loan to us, as a friend of mine says. This is a powerful, deep, time in our lives and I hope soon you will find your memories bring joy. I am so sorry, and want you to let us know how you are coming along, please. Hugs.. -

So sorry, Naomi. Regardless of their age, it’s a tough decision but the kindest one we can make – to help relieve them of their distress. When you miss him, do find you smile and feel happy for your times together? It’s normal to shed tears, too, and it’s very sneaky how little things trigger memories, like walking by the pet food aisle. Please let us know how you are doing, and if you want to share your own sympathy with others who are missing their faithful friends, it’s always nice to have you extend that. Toni -

Hi,my pet dogs name was Francis,she was mine from the time she was 6 weeks old, I miss her badly,my daughter had one of her puppy’s,her name was snowflake,my daughter treated her the best,she had a happy life,we lost her to. Our pets were more like family.

Donna, it should be the “landing page” and if you click the faithful Friends logo at the top right of this page, you should find the area to light a candle. Glad you asked because we are in the process of adding real candles that are very special to our Shop. -

Jennifer, this is just awful to hear and I am so sad for you. I’m glad he’s an “Ex”. I was just thinking to ask everyone what songs they sing to their pets – I am telling you the truth – just ten minutes ago I thought of that, and you mention singing. So, what did you sing to her? -
