I cried when ball drop a new year without my best friend. 😢 breaks my heart for me and all those whom have lost theirs.

Thank you Bobbieann. I can’t stop crying even though I know it’s for her sake, not mine. Maybe the doctor will have a different take on things, but just in the past few days she’s gone blind, she can’t jump, even to low surfaces, and we’ve been treating her progressive internal disease for a year now, her kidneys are not good…she’s not going to get better and her quality of life is not very much fun for her. Intellectually, I know she’s had a great four years with me – she’s going to be seventeen in March – but emotionally, you know how painful it is. Your kind words help, and I appreciate your reaching out.Toni-
I am so sorry I am always here if you need to talk. It is so hard to lose such sweet souls.

I feel your pain I shared a birthday with our dear Ava. Now this birthday on January 7th will not be the same. My heart is broken, people tell me I will be okay. But I ask them how do they think that. I struggle daily to get used to changing, the way that I used to spend my days.

Well crap, everybody …. I am living in tears as my own dearest Beauty is failing, and I totally feel what you are sharing. That’s why we are here – to help one another. I’ve been thinking about the people in my life who really understand what I/we are feeling, and here I am – on Faithful Friends with the rest of us who I KNOW get it…it’s just devastating, isn’t it? Thank you for being here and sharing your selves. Let’s help get our friends through it…and I am grateful to have our community to share with.
