As we approach winter, please remind yourself of some cold weather safety and comfort tips by browsing through our Library👍And please share your updates about how you are doing with us. We sincerely care, and love to hear from you. As many struggle to secure food for their families, please remember that pets are in need of support, too. Many cities and states have Pet Pantries to which you can contribute food or money. Our November group meeting is Thursday the 20th and all are welcome. The link to join is under the Events tab. Toni

💔I am so sorry, Faith. Will you tell us about Stormy and your life together? How did you meet? How long were you together? Anything you would like to share, we are here for you. If you would like to share some pictures, we would like to see Stormy. I do hope you will join our Group Meeting Thursday Novemebr 20th at 7PM EST. Oh my goodness, Cathy. That is so hard – saying goodbye to a love that has been a huge part of your life for so many years, through so many events and ups and downs. I am so very sorry for your parting💔I am also happy you and Bug were lucky to share twenty loving years together! In our heads we know that 20 years is a wonderful lifetime, but our hearts are never ready to let go. Cathy, I hope you will join us for a kind, caring group meeting Novemebr 20th. Ingeborg, I am so sorry💔When I lost my Beauty Girl I struggled with the question “How am I going to endure this”? And you know what, I slept with a stuffed toy and made myself think of the many times of joy and love we were lucky to share – that really helped me get through. Your sweet boy had a loving life wth you. The brutal part of loving so much is saying goodbye. Ingeborg, PLEASE join our kind group meeting Thursday Novemebr 20th. I think it helps a lot to talk, and cry, with us – we understand and care. In the mean time, keep sharing here with us so we can know how and what you are doing. With my sincere sympathy, Toni

Oh Cori, I am so sorry💔Even though we know our babies are only on loan to us, it hurts like nothing else can to say goodbye. November 20th we will have our monthly group meeting and I hope that you will join us to talk about all of your babies. Until then, you are welcome to share photos and stories with us here. Bernadette, I have been thinking about your sentiment and am so very sorry for the passing of your dear sister💔I have a sister and can’t imagine the pain of losing her. It is understandable that losing one of her beloved babies brings forward such deep pain. Can you think of the comfort you gave her pets and the love you carried from her, through you, to them, and feel that you did exactly what your sister entrusted you to do – to care for and about them? Too many people don’t plan for their pet’s care and you and your sister are clearly loving to plan ahead. I hope you can find peace knowing that you fulfilled your sister’s wishes by caring the way you have, and do. That’s a lot and I am sorry for your pain. And I am happy that your sister knew to share her love of her pets with you. Please Bernadette, let us know how you are doing, and come to our online group meeting November 20th to share with other kind, caring people. I am sending you {{BIG HUGS}}. Toni -

It is so good that you are there for, and with your mom, and understand her pain (and yours) is real. Shawn, I am sorry you had to say goodbye to Fluffy. Losing them is the downside of loving them. Unfortunately, our beloved babies are only on loan to us. I hope you can find smiles in your memories of the time you and Fluffy were lucky to share. Toni -

Oh, that is so hard, Shawn – not knowing what happened. He’s so handsome, maybe someone took him in. Years ago one of my cats went out and never came back. To this day I prefer to think she was adopted. I am so sorry for your worry and pain. Please let us know how you are doing. Toni -

💔Oh Dianne, this is the painful part of loving our beloved babies – seeing them fail. Thank goodness you got Molly the kind care she needed and deserved. Good for you, thinking only of her best interest and granting her relief and release from her pain and suffering. That is truly the most generous, loving act you can share. Yes, it hurts beyond belief, in ways nothing else can, to part from Molly, and I hope that you will allow yourself to find smiles before your tears with your memories of the fun, funny and loving times you were so lucky to share. If I may say, I don’t have the remains of my beloved babies, and I do not want them – my love and memories are within me as I know yours are, too. Dianne. Do you have a good relationship with your pet/s?
I’ve been thinking about my relationship with Mac and Roni and how we interact one on one, and the three of us together. I think they like/love me, as I do each and both of thrm. So I wonder how you and your babies relate? I’m curious and hope you will share your stories. Toni -
