I am so sorry, Toni. 💔Fifteen years sounds like a nice run, but 115 wouldn’t be long enough if we had our way. We know in our heads that our pets are only on loan to us, that one day we will have to say goodbye, but it hurts deep in our souls when that day arrives. Please tell us about Lexi. How did you meet? I hope you recall the many fun, funny and loving times you were lucky to share, and that you find some comfort there. Brandy, I am so very sorry you had to say goodbye to Henry.💔 What a darling boy. It is Spring! Puppy and kitten season! They are so cute and need homes, but so do the older, mature animals languishing in shelters and rescues. Please, if you are ready to open your home and heart to a new friend (or two), make time to meet with these wonderful new friends. And when you do welcome a new friend, or friends, into your home, please share with us here in our Community. 🤗🎉Toni

Jill, I am sorry💔I remember that you lost Gizmo and didn’t know what happened, which makes goodbye even harder. Do you know what happened with Baby Doll? How old was she? I can’t speak to other issues that are affecting you, but can say being depressed after losing a beloved pet, now two, can be a tremendous emotional drain. I hope the three little ones are helping you to find the joy Gizmo and Baby Doll shared with you. Keep us updated. {HUGS} Toni -

Marty was a sweet sassy little boy who left this world, his momma, a twin brother way to soon at only 1 1/2 years old. He was my cuddler my lover boy my baby

I still have his brother. Marty just passed on March 28th 2024 so very recently. Tommy still looks for Marty every once in awhile and he’s been sleeping with mommy every night. The vet said Marty had a life threatening condition that would not have gotten any better so I made the tough decision to put him to sleep. I wear some of his ashes around my neck and have the rest in a urn

What a kind message, Katrina. Thank you for sharing your understanding and support with and for others who have suffered the pain of saying goodbye to a beloved pet.💔There IS a mix of relief for our babies being released from their suffering, along with a deep grief and sadness for not having them with us in our homes. But, they are always inside our hearts. The anniversary of parting is hard, and falling on a holiday somehow makes the memory stronger, but I hope you can also bring forth memories of the wonderful times you and Ruby shared.Let us know how you are doing, and join us to talk about Ruby in April 18th if you like.
