I am so very sorry for your loss. I lost my little girl cat Jessie on May 9. She was the light of my home
and even though she had very little vision and kept my ill husband able to smile every day. She was
15 and I adopted her from a rescue group back in 2010. The pain we feel is indescribable no matter
how many days, months and years go by. Please feel free to message me any time.

Thank you Toni for your kind comforting words. She was the light of my house and especially for my
husband who is ill. She kept him smiling all day and slept with him at night. She had very little
vision but that never stopped her from being I think an angel that was sent to us thru a rescue group.

Anne, it is understandable that you are still mourning. It hasn’t been very long and there is no set timeline for moving through the grief of parting.💔 I encourage you to include memories of fun, funny and loving times you and Jessie shared as you think of her. Anne, I think you are right- our animals come to us and are only on loan, never for long enough (forever wouldn’t be long enought). It is terribly painful to sat goodbye, and I hope you and your husband can make your happy memories front and center – it’s hard to cry when you’re laughing about a funny memory. Do you think Jessie would want you to celebrate the time, and times, you shared? I think so. Please let us know how you are coming along, and share some photos and more stories if you like. {{HUGS}} Toni
