Had to put her to sleep. She had seizures. Meds didnt help. Four or five a day. Couldn’t stand to see her suffer

I understand. My shepherd/Akita started having seizures. I called our vet and she met us at her office. She said, Karen you know it’s time (I’d been putting it off). I’m truly sorry for your loss but I know in my heart your baby will be waiting for you.

Michele, these date markers bring strong emotions. I hope you allow your feelings to flow through you, hard as they are. I suspect that, as wrenching as the pain is, the loving times you shared, you wouldn’t trade. Tomorrow, will you please touch base with us, as often as you need, and let us know how you are. It’s been an agonizing 3 weeks since I had to say goodbye to my boy. He was the longest relationship I ever had and I miss him terribly, although I always feel him near. Just taking it day by day😥
