Hi everyone! I’m in distress as my 14 year pug has a collapsing trachea which has gotten worse. I see him wanting to go for a walk or chew a bone or even him wanting to bark, and all I hear is his excessive coughing and gasping. The vet says it’s not his time just yet. I still see the playful begging pug he always was. It’s very tough for me to hear him make these horrible noises. ☹️
    • Laurie, a vet once told me “Better two months too early than two months too late”. One of the kindest gifts we can give our beloved babies is a comfortable, peaceful passing so they do not have to endure suffering. If you see that it is in his best interest to relieve him of his distress, you will never regret letting him go. Saying goodbye should make you feel happy for his release. Please continue to update us, and please come to our group meeting Thursday night for support. ❤️Toni
