Yes it was a good visit. It still sucked coming home to a empty house. Baxter would always be there waiting for me.

The emptiness and quiet of the house is horrible. Some background noise from TV or music can help, as can staying busy, but walking in the door is such a sad thing. Every nw and then I think I see one of my darlings and it’s another pang. I stopped by our local shelter yesterday and am thinking of re-upping to foster cats who need medical care. They had a bunch of kittens who were playing and jumping and it made me laugh and smile. I hope you are finding some smiles before tears. {{HUG}} Toni
