    My sweet girl Chloe passed away a little over 3 months ago and the pain has not changed! Losing her took part of and will never be the same! God I miss her so much! She didn’t even realize the impact she had, I needed her as much as she needed me! I wish I had one more day to just sit and love on her and tell her! The moment she died literally shattered me! I love you Chloe mama will always love you Angel and I can’t wait til I get to see you again!
    • Amy, grief and mourning the loss of your beloved Chloe takes time. As you think of her, do you also think of the good things you did for each other, the fun times you shared? And do you feel grateful for those? I hope so because that can help us as we wrestle with the pain of parting. In our heads we know our pets are only “on loan’ to us, but in our hearts we die a little bit when they do. It’s a very, very deep and unique pain, isn’t it? I hope you will choose to think of the joy of life with Chloe, knowing she was lucky to have shared her life with you, too. We’re here for you so please continue to share with us. I’m sending you a {{HUG}}
      • I do think of the good times and all the love we shared but always is taken over by the sadness of just missing her, I honestly don’t believe I have ever grieved like this over anyone or anything and I don’t understand. I’m not gonna lie I have always pushed away from people including family just so I never would have to feel this again not that I didn’t love and care for anyone, I just didn’t want to feel this pain in my chest and sick to my stomach and absolutely no motivation in my life and I don’t understand why this so hard on me! this may be silly to some but everyday I go out to her grave put new flowers on and just sit and talk to her and I pray she hears me! The love I had for her was so much than I realized and losing her has just left me devastated and I can’t seem to get past it. I just don’t know how and everyone around me seems to think I should just be over it and I need to realize that life goes on but they don’t understand that mine life stood still when her heart stopped
        • Amy, you are doing a good job by acknowledging your grief and acting on it by visiting Chloe and talking with her. It’s NOT crazy. You are not wrong. You are capable of deep and abiding love. I hope you give some of your love back to yourself, for the care, kindness and love you gave to Chloe. In our heads we know the moment we meet our beloved pet that one day we will have to say goodbye and endure the tremendous grief of parting. But we do it anyway, and share the many fun and funny and joyful times together. Perhaps we ask too much when we want them with us forever. But Amy, you wouldn’t have wanted to not have Chloe as a part of you, would you? I think you are moving through the pain in your own way and at your own pace. Choosing to remember the happiness is a good way to help offset the pain and I hope you continue to do that. Chloe would want you to be happy for your lives knowing her memory brings you joy. don’t you think? I do. Please let us know what’s going on. And be kind to yourself as you would be to her. {{HUGS}}
