Help please. My cat wants me to ask the community about Acupuncture. She is scheduled for a first treatment this week for her kidneys and soft tissue problems. Does anyone have experience with acupuncture? Can you tell us what to expect -does it hurt? Does it help? Thank you for your insights. Toni and…..my Cat 🙂

I’m a homeopathic physician and have used acupuncture very successfully on animals and humans. Go for it.

Thank you, Elizabeth. That makes me feel better. She’s having some trouble jumping, and with her compromised kidney functions, acupuncture seems like a good option if it doesn’t stress her too much (she’s 17 now). I’ll post how we do after our session. By the way, if you can offer suggestions about alternative treatments to others in our community who may have specific concerns, please do – we are all here to help and support one another.
