Not good if I am honest, he was a wonderful pug called Oscar amazing in every way we was truly blessed, he was my little shadow, slept in our bed, he was never far behind is. we had him from a baby he picked me and it was love at first sight for both off us, we had him 8 years my husband is a broken man we was both with him at the end..-
What a sweet little guy. I lost one of my minis who died in my arms. He was 16 and my favorite of all I ever had. I got another little guy and it helped sooo much keeping me busy potty training and he wanting to play all the time. I had a little shadow that filled me everywhere. Amazing how a new little guy stops the pain. He’s with me now on my chest always giving kisses. You don’t forget your losses but amazing how much better it is with a new little guy around. He is 2 now and I’m expecting a new little brother for him in 4 weeks. Please get yourself a new little friend. It will make a world of difference.

Cheryl, you are so right about having a new love. Chuck just introduced us to his little Dixie who is loving him up since Dexter passed. Everyone is different about bringing a new pet into their home and heart – it can be a long time before you’re ready, or soon after. We all know our new pets don’t replace our beloved, but they build a new love with us. You are very kind to give these little guys a safe, fun, loving home, Cheryl. Pictures!! We want to see the baby when you get him 🙂

Kerry, I am so sorry. How long has it been? There is no timeline on grief, and the emptiness around the house echoes loud in your hearts. As Cheryl suggests, one day you may be ready to open your home and hearts to a new love. I really think they want us to go on living happily, and to love again and more. No one will replace darling Oscar. I hope soon you find yourselves smiling with your sweet memories. It’s okay to hurt. It just hurts so much. Please let us know how you are coming along. OH! We are getting ready to launch an inter-active book to help with healing. We’ll keep you posted when that’s available.
