My parents are having a very difficult time with an accident causing the untimely death of their precious mini dachshund.

Cindy, are your parents near you? An accident is shocking and anyone would have a terribly difficult time with the loss. It sounds like you are very supportive and understand their pain. Please let them know our community understands and cares and if we can help them, or you, let us know.
