My senior girl, Apache Princess has had a rough two weeks, the weather, rain and then cold. Has taken tow on her arthritis and joints. She has taken her medications daily, but just hasn’t felt like stirring around much. She and I slept into 2024. I been catering to her a little more, letting her eat and drink lying in her bed. Her medications make her sleep. She napped Christmas Day she napped while cooked lying on her bed in the dining room/kitchen area so she could see and hear me. This was the first year since I adopted her at 11 years old, I’ve had trouble buying her Christmas. She doesn’t play a lot with her plushies but gets a burst of energy now and then to crab one and play with it. What do you buy a 16-year-old pup.

It’s been 16 months since she has gone. I have her ashes and a very cute memorial for her made here. Arrangements will be done for the current cat I have when his time comes. I do that in advance, he even has someone to take care of him if I pass before him. That too has been arranged. He will stay in the home until his time comes. Someone will come in clean the house and take care of him and then once he’s gone proper arrangements can be made about the house. Till then this is his house. LOL. -

Leona, it is nice that you think that way. Caring for, and loving, our pets includes letting them go to be out of pain. Please let us know how you fare, and share some pictures if you’d like. Toni -

I’m good, just knowing that my lil’ girl is no longer hurting. She’s with family in Heaven running around and having fun 😊.
I believe that one day we will be together again. -

I’m sorry I haven’t been able to get on this site my uncle passed away before Christmas from Cancer. So I wanted to stop by and say hi to Autumn, Phoebe and Misfit, all my Furbaby that passed away before you guys I did know about this site

This is my Mojo who passed away last April 18th from complication of Diabetes. I miss him sooooo much!-

Hi Toni, Hope you are over your cold. We are still struggling with our colds. Woke up with sore throats. We had a wonderful Christmas visiting my side of the family. Hubby called his brother and Aunt as this is the first Christmas without his Mom. Alvin had fun and I thought about June a lot as well as my other fur babies. I wrote to June today too-Dec 29/23. Hope everyone is good and all the best in 2024.
