This is the pillow I got of my beloved Marty. It\’s been a month now and I still can not believe he is gone it all seems so surreal. There are days that the silence is deafening even with the other cats here. -

I am so sorry, Toni. 💔Fifteen years sounds like a nice run, but 115 wouldn’t be long enough if we had our way. We know in our heads that our pets are only on loan to us, that one day we will have to say goodbye, but it hurts deep in our souls when that day arrives. Please tell us about Lexi. How did you meet? I hope you recall the many fun, funny and loving times you were lucky to share, and that you find some comfort there. Toni, I am so sorry for your loss of Lexi 💔 She was such a beautiful girl and I know your heart is broken. No matter how long we have our fur babies, it is never enough time to be with them. I know your pain and my heart hurts for you.

It is Spring! Puppy and kitten season! They are so cute and need homes, but so do the older, mature animals languishing in shelters and rescues. Please, if you are ready to open your home and heart to a new friend (or two), make time to meet with these wonderful new friends. Just want to say how sorry I am for all who have lost a precious pet recently. I have also gone through this many times and as recently as December. It never gets easier.
