Brony… No. You are not a “bad mom”. You are a kind, caring, generous person who opened herself to another love after losing a dear beloved friend – Lulu. Please don’t even think that of yourself. Here’s the thing- we do not control the pets in our lives. We care for and about them, but they, like we, have their own paths to travel. We can give them creature comforts and care and love, but every one of us has a road to follow, and Crazy Lucy followed hers, Brony, it hurts so deeply, and I am, we are, so very sorry, but just think what a nice, safe, kind life you gave to Lucy ( and Lulu). Please, please. be kind to yourself knowing Lucy, and Lulu, knew your love, and that they would want you to be happy for the lives you shared. Stay here with us as you move throught this, Brony. We are here for you. Toni -

Maureen hi this is Brony. I lost LULU last June, I adopted LUCY and lost her this morning. Didn’t even have her a year. I must be a bad mommy. Or I believe a person to tell me the truth. It hurts so bad. -

I adopted Lucy a little under a year ago. She was to help me get through the lose of my 14 year LULU. And that she did. She stole my hotdog and watched KING KONG with me. She, was a different car but I told her that I loved her . I do believe the lady lied to me about her health. With in 3 days she was gone. I must not be a good mommy. I’m so sad.

Anne, I think you are right- our animals come to us and are only on loan, never for long enough (forever wouldn’t be long enought). It is terribly painful to sat goodbye, and I hope you and your husband can make your happy memories front and center – it’s hard to cry when you’re laughing about a funny memory. Do you think Jessie would want you to celebrate the time, and times, you shared? I think so. Please let us know how you are coming along, and share some photos and more stories if you like. {{HUGS}} Toni -

Thank you Toni for your kind comforting words. She was the light of my house and especially for my
husband who is ill. She kept him smiling all day and slept with him at night. She had very little
vision but that never stopped her from being I think an angel that was sent to us thru a rescue group. -

Oh Brony, I am so, so sorry for your loss of Lucy 💔 Oh, my heart hurts for OH, and I wish I could give you a big hug. You are not a bad Momma and Im sure Lucy (and Lulu) would agree. You loved and took care of her. Please don’t blame yourself. You took her in even though you were still grieving for your Lulu and gave her a safe and loving home. Be gentle with yourself and know that you did everything you could to keep her safe and happy. May I ask what happened to Lucy? Again, I’m so very sorry for your loss.
