Tazzie was my first emotional support cat for 16 years. She was found under my mom’s mobile home in 2004. In June of 2020 the medicine the dr’s provided increased her dosage in meds for hyperthyroidism and she passed away a few weeks after in August of 2020.

Isis passed away two days after Christmas in 2022, on April 4th 2025 she would’ve been 20 years old. She was my last emotional support cat I had for 9 years.

Missing my fur baby today especially lost him on 3/10/25. First Easter without him

It\’s been a very difficult week. Last Tuesday(4/8/2025) my husky mix Bradley went to the Rainbow Bridge. He was a rescue so I didn\’t know his exact age but was at least 13. He had been failing but that day the vet thinks he had a heart attack and had to helped across the bridge.He is SO missed-

It’s been a difficult almost 4 months for both myself and Bradley’s fursister Sadie. At my age I cannot adopt anymore dogs and it’s breaking my heart.

💔Jean, it’s only been a few months since you said goodbye to Bradley and it is understandable that you and Sadie are still mourning his loss💔Perhaps you will join our kind group August 21st to talk about Bradley, and Sadie. It can help to share with people who understand. There is no set time for grieving and healing but I do hope that each day is a bit easier for you both.
I don’t know how old you are, but I had neighbors in their 80’s who only adopted senior dogs. Yes, they said goodbye to a n umber of them, but the sweet old pups had a loving last few years. Maybe you could consider that if it would help you, and Sadie. Is Sadie also about 13? If so, she may find a new fur friend stressful.
