Yes we were greatful having her in our life. We’re ok, on and off sad. 2 days ago, got call from vet that her ashes and pawprint is ready to pick up. So I went there right after work. I cried when I received it. Hold it tight. I put on my dresser near my bed for now. Til I figure something out to set a memorial in the living room. With some pictures and her collar. -

@tamtutt1990 Bliss. What a wonderful name. And I suspect Bliss brought you just that – joy and happiness. Tamara, I am so sorry for your loss and hope you will share with us more about your life with Bliss. And please, tell us how you are. We know how hard it is to say goodbye and how it can hurt. Toni

Karen, a month isn’t very long to move through the pain of parting to the warmth of loving memories. Domino was SO beautiful – those eyes! – and we can see how much love she gave, and got. What are you doing to help yourself heal? I hope you are being kind to yourself. We are here for you, and perhaps you will join our group meeting in April. We’d love to hear from you. We’ll be thinking of you, with warmth. Toni -

Nicole, I feel as if I know Harlee now, seeing her in so many moments of her happy life. How wonderful of you to share with us, and how wonderful for you both to have had so many fun times. We can see how much love she gave, and got back. It’s awful to say goodbye, but aren’t you grateful at the deepest level for having had her in your life? Of course, and so is your son. But it hurts and we are here for you, with you, to help support you as you move towards remembering Harlee with smiles before your tears. Please Nicole, send us updates about how you are coming along. {HUGS}. Toni -

Oh Bea, I am so very sorry. It had to be so sad and painful for you to know Tiny was unwell. You were very gracious to help him find comfort even though it breaks your heart. That is love. I hope you find some comfort knowing you did your best for Tiny, not just at the end of his life, but for eleven glorious years of fun and love. Please update us on how you are, and know we are here for you. Toni -

Sarah, again, I am truly very sad and sorry about Sassy. I’ve been thinking that the days, sometimes weeks or months, of seeing our beloveds’ fail is almost, never as much, but almost as heartbreaking as saying goodbye. I went through it with my BG, and am going through it again now, and it hurts every day, anticipating our parting. But, I also know Sassy had a wonderful, loving life with you and she is now comfortable. And she would want you to know how much she loved you, apprecited everything you did with and for her, and would want you to be happy – don’t you think? We wish we could be together longer. We can be grateful for the time we had. I hope you find yourself smiling with your good memories soon. Please let us know how you are doing, Sarah. {HUG} -

Eugene, Beth was such a long time, beloved best friend and I am so sorry for your loss. In your head you know you gave her the most generous, selfless gift you could – release and relief. In your heart, you are shattered, at a deep, celllunlar level. It is is going to take you time to eventually be able to recall the many years of joy and love you and Beth shared. May I offer you a thought? The time Beth was unwell, while absolutely the worst, is a smaller percentage of her life, just as it would be for any of us, than the 13 years you enjoyed together. It is so sad that they are only “on loan” to us, never for long enough. It is the part of pet loving that we know, going in, we will one day reckon with. I hope you will allow your fond and fun memories to rise, and that you are kind to yourself. Please Eugene, keep us updated on how you are doing. You have all of our sympathy. Toni -

Out of nowhere my cat sassy started losing weight very fast she stopped eating and drinking and using the litter box the vet told me that she was in kidney failure and on top of that she had a secondary infection that she couldn’t fight so I lovingly and tearfully made the decision to let her cross the rainbow bridge. -

Penny was adopted at 18 months old. She was abused and starved. We adopted her in 2016. She died a few months after her 9th birthday in January. She was the most lovable dog especially after she was so abused. She was full ny.
