Maryann, the most brutal days, weeks, and yes, months, come when we say goodbye. I am so sorry and I hoe you can find some comfort thinking of the wonderful life you and Penny shared. Penny was adopted at 18 months old. She was abused and starved. We adopted her in 2016. She died a few months after her 9th birthday in January. She was the most lovable dog especially after she was so abused. She was full ny.
