Adopted this little guy that I posted pictures of. His name is Blu and he has brought so much joy to my heart. I still miss my Bella but I know she sent him to me. He has some of the same habits she had. He’s four and a half months old and he’s full of life.

    • Brandy, I am so very happy for you. Blu is such a cutie. I wish you both a very happy and long life together.
      • Blu is so adorable! Congrats
        • This is just GRAND! Congratulations to you and Blu, Brandy 💕. I’m reluctant to recommend adopting until a person is ready and willing to open their heart and home again, but 10 days after my beloved BG died, Boots came into my life and I can tell you he turned me around. I gained the perspective that while “all leaves fall from the tree”, there is new life and love looking for us. So even though I wasn’t “ready” at the time, I am very grateful Boots came along to heal me. And yes, Bella may have had a hand in bringing you and Blu together. I am excited, as I know we all are, to see little Blu and his antics!! Please share more of your lives together with. If you can join us tonight, our group would love to meet Blu. Link is under Events. 7PM EST. If not then, we look forward to hearing more here. {HUGE HUGS } to you both. Toni

@indianacat2004 Marilyn, I am so sorry for your loss of Bandit. Are you doing okay? Not so good? Please tell us about your life with Bandit, share some photos if you like. We meet online the third Thursday each month and I hope you will join us to talk about Bandit. 💔Toni

          • Bandit was my world and faithful companion for 14 of his 25 years he was my lifesaver several times when ending it all seemed the right solution he saved me
            • Marilyn, I am sorry for your loss of Bandit 💔 I understand what you mean about Bandit being you faithful companion and being your world. My Romeo was the same for me and saved my life too. He came as a gift to me when I was at a very low time in my life and just wanted to die. Please take care of yourself. Peace be with you. Sending you hugs 💔

The emptiness and quiet of the house is horrible. Some background noise from TV or music can help, as can staying busy, but walking in the door is such a sad thing. Every nw and then I think I see one of my darlings and it’s another pang. I stopped by our local shelter yesterday and am thinking of re-upping to foster cats who need medical care. They had a bunch of kittens who were playing and jumping and it made me laugh and smile. I hope you are finding some smiles before tears. {{HUG}} Toni

Yes it was a good visit. It still sucked coming home to a empty house. Baxter would always be there waiting for me.
