      👋

    • Poor little kitten. He had diarrhea all night. We’re being tested again today and I expect we will be saying goodbye 💔This is so sad because he’s eating and playing and we’re getting very close. I can see hoe he is getting smarter each day. I hope he is negative for panleuk, but it seems unlikely. I’ll let you know what happens. Toni

    • @jenn60 Hello Jenn, and welcome to our caring community. I am so sorry for your loss of Smokey and hope you will tell us about your lives together, share some photos, and let us know how you are doing. Toni

        • Hello my Friends. It is with a heavy and broken heart that I write. Wednesday I picked up three six- week old kittens to foster. Sunday, two were euthanized due to Feline Panleukopenia, a highly contagious, lethel disease in cats. It is similar to Canine Parvovirus in dogs. The third kitten tested negative, was given medical treatment, and he is home with me. We are hoping, but not hopeful, that he will survive. I am determined to get him through this, but it is a long shot💔It is critical that we vaccinate against this, and other diseases. This link has excellent information about this devastating disease: https://www.avma.org/resources-tools/pet-owners/petcare/feline-panleukopenia

For your information, I have to sterilize every surface, piece of furniture, clothing, – EVERYTHING they or I have touched; throw away all toys that can\’t be sterilized (soft or carpeted) and I cannot have cats in my home for one year. Truly heartbreaking. Thank you all for being a part of our kind, cating, understanding and supportive community.

G.A. Back to Rowan (Ro-Ro, Lil’ Snowman, Husqvarnass or Bolt as we’ve nicknamed him) – he’s supposedly 2-3 yrs old but is so crazy & has so much puppy in him we think he’s more like 1-1.5 yrs old. He can run like a deer (hence the nickname Bolt after the cartoon dog) & absolutely will not return & is completely uncatchable if he escapes! Other than that, he is a little cutie & has some very funny mannerisms. He is a work in progress – more updates to come!

I just love the way Miss Raven Moon got her name🤗I always invite people to tell us how they met their beloved babies and your story about meeting Sookie is the reason why. Please share frequent updates with us. You ARE still carrying Sookie with you, but now she’s in your heart❤️. Sending you {Big Hugs}. Toni

Randy, we’ve missed Renzo (and you, of course), and I couldn’t be more delighted to hear your wonderful updates, really look forward to more :-). They are adorable and in time will become Best Buds (after your wife). About how old is Rowan? Renzo is still a very handsome boy 🤗Randy, it is so good to hear fun news and please be in touch. {{HUGS}} Toni

Hi everybody. Sorry I haven\’t been on for a while, life just gets so crazy. Well after some thinking & searching, we adopted a 2nd dog so our boy Renzo would have a buddy. \”Rowan\” is a pure white G.S.D. (supposedly) but we\’ve discovered he definitely has some (possibly 1/2 or better) Husky in him. He\’s stubborn, headstrong & sometimes just a total jerk if he\’s not feeling like listening or caring! We\’ve had him for 3 months now & he\’s put on some weight & adjusted well. He & Renzo are buddies & get along fairly well. Rowan still needs work but he is friendly, loving & cute as all hell! He loves my wife – he is HER buddy & waits for her to come home from work. I\’ll try to give more frequent updates but here\’s some pics of the lil\’ devil along w/Renzo. Hope everyone & their furry friends are doing well. Talk soon, good night.

Sorry I got off track, Evans Disease is a blood disorder I believe similar to blood cancer

Thank you. I do not know much to much about the Evan’s Disease, I found out about after she needed a couple dental extractions. She just was not healing. After weeks of weekly blood work, they discovered this rare disease. However the treatment can be just as bad as the disease. I did everything I could. Just wasn’t enough. From what I understand is there is no cure.
Sookie came to me as a stray in the middle of a storm on July 5th 2011. She just crawled on her belly and omg I could not resist her. I fell in love at first lick. She was so very special. I loved the way she actually would just gaze at me when I held her or how how she would sleep with her head on my neck. How I could just carry her around all day. My heart will never be the same.
Now Miss. Raven Moon well she is a 10 month old tornado that brings me so much joy, she doesn’t understand the art of cuddle yet but she is always laying right next to me. She has many of Sookies traits but she absolutely her own dog. I love here with all my heart too. Her name is because I have always loved crows and raven’s, soon as our eyes met I just said raven. Then playing with her the moon part came out and it stuck.
                        • @rosapacheco1018 Rosa, I am so sorry for your loss of Voltron. Please tell us about such a cool name, and about your lives together. We’d love to see some photos, and hear how you are doing. Toni
