Well, I’m still missing Buddy beagle I still feel him behind my knees eat night and sometimes I think I hear his little beagle yodel. But we got another dog, not to replace Buddy, but to hopefully console our husky/lab Cookie. She was in a depression we couldn’t get her out of. Our new dog in Anika, and although she looks like a beagle , after doing some research we’ve decided that Anika is at least part tree walking coonhound. Some of them look very much like a beagle with some differences of course. I posted two pictures but one came in upside down, which pretty much describes my life right now. I’m posting another pic of Anika. And one more of Cookie. I’m also going to try to post a little poster that helps me when I think of our Buddy beagle. View

Hi Karen. You are such a kind person to love so many animals so well. You write so beautifully about each of them, I feel as if I know them a little. Your sensitive, witty words bring comfort to me (and many smiles). Thank you for sharing your stories and these wonderful pictures.
