Bandit was very hiper he just couldn’t stay still my husband and I luved him we only had him when he was 11 months old it was on Memorial Day when I went to my step sons house to get something cause we was putting a new floor down in our laundry room and all of a sudden I heard this big yipe from him and when I turned around he was cut from his underarm down almost to his tummy and that’s when I found out that he was bleeding eternally so basically he was dieing in front of me. Now with Sasha I got her for free and she was a wonderful dog that luvs to ride and luvs to have her back side scratched all the time plus she luved to play in our pond. Then one year after I got off from work I got a phone call from my husband to tell me to hurry home cause something happened to Sasha so when I got home I found out that she couldn’t lay down cause my dad and my husband told me that she broke her back real bad so I told my husband that he had to put her down which means he had to shoot her cause we didn’t had the money to take her to the vet.i really do miss them both but there was one more dog that I didnt put down was my first dog name Angel. She was the first dog that I have ever owned and she was really sweet but if someone ever try’s to hit me she would go after them but other then that she was a very sweet dog so back in 2008 I had to put her down too cause she hurt her hip some how so that next year she started having problems with her hip where she couldn’t hardly get up the stairs jump on the couch or jump on the bed so we had to put her down cause at that time we didnt have any money to take her to the vet either so I had my other step son to put her down but good thing about Angel and Sasha is that I can go to their grave anytime I like but with Bandit he’s buried at my first step sons house.-
Linda, your stories are very moving and there may be resources in your area to help with the costs of pet care. You can start by using our “Finding Services”, enter your zip code, and use the drop-down menu to find veterinarians and other providers, many of whom have funds available to help pay for essential care. Nationally, we are working with Waggle.com and will be providing more information about their fine organization soon. It’s lovely of you to care for and about your pets, and we will be thinking of you. Stay in touch.-
Thank u and I will I miss all three of them Angel my first dog I think I miss the most cause she was my first pet that I actually owned

Here is a pic of my Timmy. He was a Maine Coon and we miss him!! He’s on the left-
Timmy is very cute. How is Jazzy doing without him? How are making it through the holidays and this stupid virus?
-
By “stupid” I mean deadly and scary, of course. One thing that’s happened is we are home bonding with our pets more than usual. There may be separation anxiety on both parts when things go back to normal.

Taymor and Bella were my dogs. Both were rescue mutts. We lost Bella about 3 years ago and Taymor passed in November. They were both about 11 years old. Both still hurt a lot. I do have 2 more dogs. Holli is 4 years old and Fiona is 15 weeks. Thank you for your interest. -

I feel your pain I shared a birthday with our dear Ava. Now this birthday on January 7th will not be the same. My heart is broken, people tell me I will be okay. But I ask them how do they think that. I struggle daily to get used to changing, the way that I used to spend my days. -

Went to the grocery store today. While shopping I came across the doggie toys. There in the box of squeaky toys was a grinch squeaky. Our dear Ava loved squeaky toys. So I grabbed the grinch squeaky toy, brought it home and put it on the memorial shelf. Am I wrong for doing it I miss her so much. I cleared off my whole computer desk, to make room for memorial items for her.

Wrong?! Absolutely not, Sonya. That is so Right…. Any and every little thing triggers memories and I completely get it. 🙁

Hi again, Sonya. I have been thinking of you and wonder how are you doing now? You are so kind, thoughtful and generous to share your sympathies with our hurting community members. It means a lot. So – How ARE you now? What are you doing to move forward? How can we support you? Toni
-
Hello, Toni. Thank you for thinking of me. I am doing okay I still have my moments, where I miss our beloved Ava Dawn. I try to stay busy helping my family, seems to keep me from being to upset. Yes I try to help give encouraging words to other’s who are struggling. I think though with all the kind people, on here I can help keeps me going. ❤️ Sonya
-
I’m glad you are busy and am sure your family appreciates all you do, and are supportive of you. We have a very nice community, don’t we? Animal lovers are kind and we understand the depth of grief the death of a beloved pet brings. It does help to share your strength. I always say “Joy shared is joy doubled; Grief shared is grief halved” and I truly believe that. Stay in touch with everyone, Sonya. We’re here for you, too.
