Celebrate 5 years, 8 months agoHere is Squirt\’s sons.. Kobebear, and Snickers-
Are they cute?!! What are they – Pomeranians? How old are they?-
Yes they are Pomeranians. Snickers is 6 and Kobebear is 5. They are sweethearts.

-
very cute babies:)-
Thank you so much.

Diane, do you have more pictures of them? How much do they weigh? I bet they look really cute when they’re wet and their fur isn’t sticking out – I had a long haired cat that looked really big and fluffy, and when she came in the shower with me (yes, she loved getting wet!), she was a skinny little thing 🙂-
Yes, they are cute when they get their baths. They are not easy to give them a bath, for they have two coats they top fur and then they have an undercoat. But you can’t help but loving them. They have been by my side and are trying to comfort me.-
Diane, as you said to Jayne, they know when we are suffering, whether physically or emotionally. I’m glad you have them to support you. They probably miss Squirt, too, and are lucky to have you there to support them, too. Here’s a HUG for you all……-
Thank you so much and thanks for everyone in this group for all the support we can to one another for our loss of our fur babies.

Remember 5 years, 8 months agoI loss my little boy (Squirt) on Christmas eve. He was my soulmate. I miss him dearly. RIP: my sweet baby Squirt..💔😥
-
Oh no, how sad at any time, but Christmas Eve is so sad. I had a cat named Squirt for nineteen years. How old was your Squirt? How are you doing now, Diane?
-
Squirt was 11yrs. He was so special to me, see I got him when I was trying to deal with the death of my son. My son was 21 and passed away in a car accident. I was so lost at that time in my life and grieving. I found a lady that was giving away puppies and that is when I saw Squirt. He was the rut of the litter and I picked him up and we bonded right then. He helped me over come my grief and I started healing my pain. So now he is gone and I feel that pain again. I do have my memories and he will always be in my heart.

Diane, my words can not convey my feelings for you. I am trying to comment, to support you, but I really don’t know what to say. You are obviously a strong, smart person who accommodates the most tremendous loss imaginable, and have a big reservoir of love in you. My heart is broken with you. I am sure our community feels the same way and joins me in wanting to hear from you – your ups and downs, your joys and tears … Please Diane, let us know how you are, and if or how we can help support you. Huge Hugs, Toni

Dear Diane,
I am so sorry for your loss. I know the hurt you feel. I lost my Ava Dawn on December 15th. So I know how the love of a fur baby is. They do become our children too. I am also sorry to hear about your son. I have a son who is turning 20 in May. Do you have other children. I had my son and then a daughter. My son name is Jeremiah he is my bull frog. What was your son name. If you ever need to just talk I am here. I care a lot about other’s and I feel their pain. Reach out to me anytime. Sonya 🥰

Thank you so much. Ranger passed away suddenly on Dec 7. He was a mixed breed dog who we are guessing was about 12. We adopted him March 2009 -

I am sorry for your loss of Ranger, June. Will you tell us about him? What type of pet? May we see pictures? How can we support you?

That’s so tough. I’m very sorry. But you know what a nice thing you did for Ranger by bringing him into your warm and welcoming home. Still….it hurts. Let us know how you are getting along.

Celebrate 5 years, 8 months agoMy Paris when I try to work my puzzle.-
I’d be surprised if, in the history of cats, a human worked a puzzle, read a magazine or book, used a computer, etc. without the aid of a cat 🙂

I know I even try to color, and she is right there like what ya doing. 😂

She’s a good pal. Curious and obviously very intelligent !

Yes she is my calico and I love her too the moon and back. ❤️

I’m the same way with my Hunee, it was 3 years this past November. And like your Luna bug, my Hunee Bea slept in my arms her whole 14 years. Luna’s coat is beautiful. -

I lost Baby Boy (dog) in 2016 and Sniffles (cat) in 2017. Both to cancer. I still miss them and love them so much. But I know they are still with me. They send Cardinals to say Hi sometimes. I’m doing good I have other fur kids who keep me busy-
It’s funny, but birds often seem to carry little “Hello’s” from our lost ones. As I’ve often said “Time eases, but doesn’t erase” and it’s lovely to keep them in our hearts. It’s really nice that you have opened your heart to others. Will you share some pictures and stories about them with us in our Celebrate area?
