    Hello my Friends. It is with a heavy and broken heart that I write. Wednesday I picked up three six- week old kittens to foster. Sunday, two were euthanized due to Feline Panleukopenia, a highly contagious, lethel disease in cats. It is similar to Canine Parvovirus in dogs. The third kitten tested negative, was given medical treatment, and he is home with me. We are hoping, but not hopeful, that he will survive. I am determined to get him through this, but it is a long shot💔It is critical that we vaccinate against this, and other diseases.     For your information, I have to sterilize every surface, piece of furniture, clothing, – EVERYTHING they or I have touched; throw away all toys that can\’t be sterilized (soft or carpeted) and I cannot have cats in my home for one year. Truly heartbreaking. Thank you all for being a part of our kind, cating, understanding and supportive community.
