    I don\’t want to bring everybody down but I almost gave my angel her wings today. Her 18th birthday is March 13. She has been on meds for blood pressure, thyroid, internal inflammatory disease, and you may have seen this photo of catupuncture for her kidneys. She is now blind and deaf. But….she\’s been doing well. However, last night she had her second frightening event in two months where she was either choking or having a seizure. I took her to the doctor today. It seems likely it\’s a neurological condition. She continues to lose weight. It\’s time to give her a final gift of peace and relief, and today I was ready (as one can be) and then she started meowing and seemed engaged and I just couldn\’t take that path. I am trying to do only what\’s best for her – it\’s not about me. We\’re home together for tonight. Heartbreaking……..
