@nicklestracey Hello Tracey. I am sorry about Coomer and Tiger and hope you are doing alright? Please tell us about them, share some stories and pictures if you will. My first cat was named Tiger, and so was my second, so I have a special fondness for that name. Was your Tiger a cat?

Coomer was my other special boy. He was rejected by his mother at 5 weeks old. She moved the entire litter but never returned for him. I hand raised him and we had a bond just like I had with Tiger. Coomer was a special needs cat. He had poor vision and mobility issues. His vet seemed to think he had a form of mental illness. At 3 years old he lost his ability to eat hard food so I had to hand feed him. It was like he had Alzheimer’s. He couldn’t remember where his litter box was and had a lot of accidents. I didn’t mind. He was like a child to me. 4 days before his next vet visit he passed away peacefully in my arms.
We still never knew exactly what other health conditions he had. But overall he was so loved. I’ll go through my old phone and find pictures. He was jet black and absolutely gorgeous.
Thank you for letting me tell you about my special kitties.
For years I didn’t open my heart to another pet until recently. A beautiful long haired pregnant female just showed up out of nowhere. She gave birth on my back porch a couple weeks ago. Come to think of it there’s only one male and he’s jet black just like my Coomer was. I find myself falling in love with these strays that have called my house a home. Especially the runt of the litter. That’s the little boy I mentioned. I’m still up in the air about keeping them all. But I just feel like she came here for a reason. If that makes sense.
