    Update on my cat: She is still without sight, has been on the blood pressure and thyroid meds for a week now, and we go back to the doctor tomorrow. For the first five nights I slept on the floor next to her bed/bench but as she is adapting and knows her way around more each day, I slept on the couch last night and she came to sleep with me again. She is becoming more confident and if she is going to stay blind, I think we can make it work pretty well without limiting her fun and joy of life too much. If anyone has tips for us, please share. I appreciate the support from you all. Toni
