The best way to decompress! I especially love early in the morning right when the sun comes up for my cup of tea. All teas peach flavor is my weakness. -

Ryuu Update! He\’s gaining weight! In the most recent photo, he is at 365g. So happy about that. His eye is also clearing up. We were worried about him losing his sight in his left eye but things seem to be better. My sister will be taking him to the vet again this Friday to get a better understanding of what\’s going on with that but he is doing well and is running around exploring more!
Another big accomplishment is he\’s using the litter box now! It amazes me how quickly a kitten can pick up on it as well.

That’s what we love to see, Tay! What a magnificent job you all are doing for little Ryuu. I must give a lot of credit to the other cat (who is that?) taking care of him, plus taking a pretty good swipe from him:-). Please share what you learn from the vet so we can all benefit. I can’t thank you enough for sharing this with us. We’re all excited to follow his progress. Toni -

Ryu is now 5 weeks old! A little on the small side but that’s not stopping him. That old man (who’s only 4 years old) is Prince. He’s a rescue from an old barn that, we believe, helped take care of his other siblings because he takes really well to new kittens and helps take care of them. He lives with my twin.-
Tay, you make me smile, and your pictures and videos are precious. Sounds like you have a family of animal lovers, and I am so happy to have you with our community of like minded people. Prince is soooo handsome. What fun for them both to have each other. Ryu is going to be a great friend to you all, and to us. I just love them…… keep sending updates, please. I’ll be wondering what’s going on with them. Hugs.

Ryu Update! He\’s still fighting and making all the other pets fall in love with him. We are currently treating his eye for an infection but he acts completely unfazed. He\’s been loving the wet food but still an EXTREMELY messy eater.

Tay, count me in with the other pets falling in love with Ryu – who wouldn’t? 🙂 Appetite seems good, and I think we all know a few “messy eaters”, eh? How old is Ryu now? And who is that beauty in grey and white with him? What a great story for us to follow. I am very interested in his progress, so thank you for sharing. And kudos to you for taking such wonderful, loving care of him…..

I have no clue what Ryu means but I helped pick it out of a lineup with my sister 😄. I’ll keep you guys updated. Next week he’s going to be on gruel so I’ll have to show you guys the mess he makes as he transitions to a bowl.-
Yes, do let us see him with his “gruel”. I looked up Ryu and it seems to be a name from Korean and Japanese literature. Cool….

Meet Ryu. Ryu is only 3 weeks old now but we got him when he was only a couple hours old. We\’re fostering him for my sister until he\’s old enough. (Who actually birthed this kitten from a stray cat she was taking care of at her job. She is a vet assistant) It\’s been an uphill battle taking care of him but he\’s doing well. The other kittens are getting used to him now too.-
Oh my gosh… so cute! It looks like you’re doing a good job taking care of him. -
OH MY GOODNESS! What a special treat to see these pictures. Thank you so much for sharing them with us, Tashawna. Wow-from a little wet thing to a fluffy kitten. That’s so magical. How nice of you to foster this little one. I’m betting you end up being a doting Aunt :-). Please, send us pictures of Ryu regularly so he can grow up with us. Does Ryu mean something? How did he get his name? I am just tickled…..
